Question to you more experienced folks: my employer can't pay his employees and im going to go down to the attorney generals office, any advice anyone has would he appreciated. Dept of labor etc

 

When you were hired did you fill out a W-2, and all the necessary documents?
If you did, then you were legally hired and can go to the Dept of Labor tell them whats up to get your money and if you really wanted to you could sue his ***... and then take us all out for a beer
BUT
If you didnt and he's been paying you in cash/ check with now verifaction of hire... you might be SOL because the Dept of Labor would investigate it, talk to your employer and he/she could say "i have no record of him working here" and then you wouldn't be getting anywhere...

On a side note, whats the status on your car coming? will i see you at C 'n C on saturday???

 

THANK YOU I filled out a w2 so I'm gonna go down there TOMORROW and pursue it as far as possible. My credit score dropped over 30 pts in like a month because of this *******.

Called dept of labor I guess it has to be 31 days of non payment before any laws are violated. Any other ideas...

anyone know how much Nissan dealerships cost to look and diagnose?

my altima is stranded at the airport garage, and i need to get it somewhere to get looked at. I dont know nay repair shops around here that are good, so i dunno. i hate dealerships too but i need this fixed asap so i can have a dd.

yesterday i started my car and started driving and all of the sudden it bogged down like it was in fail safe mode, but then every now and then it would rev up just fine. it is switching between not accelerating/accelerating. My CEL was already on for an old sensor issue, so i wouldnt be able to say that it is throwing another code just yet. FUUUUUUDGE!!!

 

$160 just to plug it in to the code reader and diagnose...

 

yeah i will just do it myself hahaha!

btw guys, if you know anyone who is interested in picking up a fun car,

somewhat flexible on the price since i didnt fix a few of the things, finders fee for you as well!

How much for just the wheel/tire setup? I should have looked at them last weekend but I didn't know you had those.

 

hmmm wasnt wanting to sell off stuff individually just yet. but if i was gonna sell em, it would be 1500 since i just spent 1800 on getting em mounted and all that jazz, and you would literally just slap em on your car and be done. got a couple little nicks on em, but still near perfect.
