you will most likely need a machine shop to drill through stainless. I know with my APS pipes, I had to take them to a machine shop. I know Chuck @ boostfactory/RS could do the work for you

Thanks, Aaron. That's not too far from me. Now to get the specs on that hole. What's the standard size for the sensors?

Well I finally pulled the trigger and went full HD! Picked this up about an hour ago at best buy. Samsung 40in LCD (Ln40a550) Paid $919 out the door with some price matching and some haggling. Who knew you could haggle with best buy employees!

I already have a PS3 to go with it. Gaming will never be the same. I currently own an old 19" Tube TV that I got as a high school graduation present 10 years ago. Just a slight upgrade!

Dave,
buy the bung and take everything to him if you can. He may have bungs, but I would recommend getting a SS one off ebay. The standard size is M18 x 1.5. In terms of how big to drill the hole, it will depend on the bung you buy. Some are very thick and require a slightly larger hold, some have a small fitting lip and those require a smaller hole. Best off getting the bung and drilling the hold to fit that. Again, I took the bung and pipes to a machine shop, they measured the bung, and programmed into their CNC machine a hole size 1/100th bigger and that was that.

Drilling through stainless is not an easy task

While I am not a fan of LCD panels, that will be a huge improvement over the tube... congrats.

So you're really Jewish? Haggling is a fine art. I try it all the time.

Yea, the heat blows when dirving. But when coming to a stop and while stopped it only blows cold. the temp on the dash stays at the same all the time.

Maybe a dumb question but do you have the climate control on the auto or manual setting for the blower motor control? If it's on Auto I'm wondering if would be a temp sensor issue Also any issues with lights dimming or the engine sputtering when you slow down or come to a stop?

I had a similar issue a few years back with a Maxima. Turned out to be a bad alternator. It would work intermittently causing some of the systems to fluctuate (ex. lights, radio, and the climate control). When I would slow down or come to a stop the engine revs would drop way down and on occasion even kill the engine. Might not be the same situation but thought that would throw it out there.

I am not 100% sure on the thermostat, but it is an easy/cheap replacement. Does your car take longer than usual to get up to temp?

other thoughts:
Temp sensor
heater core
