Work and hockey have been keeping me pretty busy. By the time I come home, I just veg in front of the TV.

I was thinking of taking Brandon to go see that movie Haunted House. It looks funny, and he's been asking. His birthday is on the same day as the Superbowl, and he wants to go see Warm Bodies.

Prokart sounds fun. So does bowling.

Dave and Busters in Maple Grove?

Man, I'm feeling the itch to drive the Z. Must...resist...temptation...

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a light weight battery now. Seeing that I drive the Z about 6 months out of the year, I might as well get something seasonal.

What do you think? I know it's not a lot of CCA, but it's not like I have a thumping sound system in the Z.

Did you go to the Apple Valley one? They're pretty good with sale items being in stock. The MOA location sucks. The manager always hides the stuff on sale, so he buys them and probably turns around to sell them on eBay.

My tranny is just fine. But I don't have a battery anymore. I need a battery.

you shop online for supplements? I haven't shopped GNC for years. I could get decent deals at corp stores now and again, but it was just too much hassle when I could go online and get the same pricing. I am not sure how their current prices compare to the net??

Check DPSnutrition, muscular development, bodybuilding.com, or netrition and see how your prices compare. I just had a 30% off coupon for bodybuilding.com and placed a monster order

FWIW, I got 10 lbs of syntha-6 for $60/shipped. I have never tried it before, but heard it's tasty.

I normally buy AST VP2 and Dymatize Elite Gourmet

Syntha6 is my favorite. It's very tasty and gives me what I need. Whey protein and other types/brands seem to give me so damn much gas, but BSN doesn't. I'm not a fan of Dymatize.

That's a helluva deal, Aaron. I always shop online to see how competitive the prices are, and I usually get free shipping.

looking at the label syntha6 isn't anything special. not an overly high percentage of protein, and it is mainly a concentrate. It has added fat, which is OK. If it weren't for all the talk about how good it tastes and the deal I got, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

I bought over 50 lbs of protein in this last order. I am going through about 5-6 lbs a week now so I am always looking for an economical protein. Dymatize fits that bill. It isn't the best tasting stuff, but not bad either. When it comes to protein, I can suck down just about anything. I might have to start ordering from protein factory again, but even their prices have gone up considerably.

Still holding on to a 20% off coupon for bodybuilding.com

oh, and pissed that AST discontinued my preworkout... back to the gaspari brand super pump max.

The BSN stuff definitely has more stuff added for the taste (i.e. calories, too). I used to order ON Gold Whey. I usually mix my protein powders with 50/50 milk and water.

I use CGT 10 and Amino Energy for pre- and post- workout supplements. Buddy of mine gave me a can of Cellucor C4 Extreme. I heard that stuff should be illegal. LOL

Oh, and I take ON's BCAA capsules.

that C4 doesn't look too bad. basically caffeine, beta alanine, and arginine. Nothing out of the ordinary for a preworkout. CGT 10 is just creatine and glutamine.

I figured an old guy like you might be taking a DAA/PES erase stack

No, mostly GNC If you pay $15 you get their GNC gold card and you get 20% off their prices for a year. I try to bulk up when they have their big sale weeks like last weeks.

This is the stuff I just started using and so far I like the results, http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...593187.2108309

They had it on sale last week for $52.99 and also it was buy one get the other 50% off of the sale price. So for one at regular price it was literally buy one get one free.
