didn't we have some talk about weight lifting/body building in this thread a few pages back...?
I am down to 230 lbs today. should see the 220's by the weekend. I am not like I was in my early to mid 20's but I am not too far behind. Feeling pretty yolked. My shoulders and arms are probably as big as they have ever been. I have some fat to lose, but I am not complaining considering the window of training I have to work with. I am working through some shoulder impingement, so my bench press is hundreds of lbs off what it once was, but aesthetically you couldn't tell by looking at me.
only have a few more weeks to really train, so I have some anxiety about leaving the gym kind of cold turkey when my work starts. This year I am aiming to keep my diet some what under control so I don't have that much more to make up this coming fall....

some bench press a few weeks into training last fall(kind of right off the farm - oct/nov 2012)... some decent, but not heavy weight. My bodyweight was pretty high, I think about 252, and was literally my 2nd or 3rd lift back from 5.5 months away from the gym:
This is me at just about ~248 lbs (winter of 2011-2012). pretty solid, but a little too fat
that pic taken same day as squat day... again, some decent weight, but not a ton (445 x 6 that day)
other weights from about that time.. :
Bench press 370 x 5
deads 480 x 5
give me a few more weeks, and I'll have pics of me at <230 lbs... aesthetically much better, even if the lifts suffer some

Nice Aaron you must laugh your *** off when I say I'm trying to get to 175 by summer. I'm still working out 5-6xs a week 2 hr a day. Uping the weights again on Monday.

I dont' laugh... I just question how a person can't gain weight. just eat. I watch people eat and I gain weight. it's a good thing as well though. always been able to get as big and as strong as I want. it is just a matter of time. the challenge for me is getting lean. we all have our physical challenges

I still have a metabolism thats in over drive. Which I suppose is good but just makes it harder to gain weight. Right now I'm the heaviest ive ever been. When I graduated I was only 133 soaking wet but I was a track athlete ran the mile in 5:05 & the half mile in 1:58.

Jeezus, Aaron. That's heavy stuff. I never want to get that big or need to be that strong. You're a beast. Are you doing any cardio? How are you losing the weight?
I'm about 190 now. I did squats, leg presses, and shoulders/biceps yesterday. It was a great workout for me. I got a good sweat out of it. I may not look 190, but I'm dense. lol
Actually, I want to trim about 5 lbs off and get more cut. I just haven't figured out how yet. Been trying to cut down on sugar, eat more oatmeal, and not eat big dinners. Kind of hard to cut down on food when I'm always hungry from working out.

down to 5 days a week of cardio. I actually hit the cardio pretty hard considering.
I am playing in an over 30 hockey tourney this weekend in new richmond. we won our first game 7-1 tonight. I played pretty decent considering I haven't really skated (beyond mite practices) in about 2 yrs. I definitely held my own, then again, the other team came out of their locker room with buckets of beer

not bad jotham but id say its the opening cruise for spring, perfect for opus cuz then we can do it on the weekends, not even a security guard will be there haha i mean we did shred for like a good 20 minutes and neither of the two rent a cops were even there. id say it was a win, BUT YOU NEED TO KEEP UP hahaha

Well wife was feeling good today so we took a trip to the auto show. The show wasn't to bad, the GTR was NOT there but all in all wasn't to bad. We found a car Kristen liked, one that had the features she wanted and could see out of easily and one that didn't break the bank. She wants/likes the 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe SE with the leather,touch screen Nav. backup camera, heated front and rear seats, heated side mirrors, sunroof, for a decent price of 24k. I'm sure I can find a better deal but thats what the list price was. So I'm now in full hunt in finding one. Probably by the end of the month we'll take one home.

That a pretty cool little car, I haven't seen one yet so I checked it out online. Im definitely a fan of Hyundai's latest cars, they've really turned that company around over the last few years and are putting out a good product.
