Aaron, I saw you at the rink on the ice. The kids look pretty talented. Some kids committed penalties right in front of you, but you were busy flirting with the moms.

We lost to Lakeville North White. They have 3 teams in the C category. They beat us 8 to 0. I think they're undefeated this season.

 

So Ryan...and to others curious about the school incident. Here's how it goes:

Brandon's table "Wrestlers are tough and know how to fight."
Brandon "Hockey players are also tough and know how to fight."
Kid from next table "Oh, really? Think you're tough and can fight?"
Brandon "Yeah, I guess."
Kid/instigator "Prove it. Meet after school or you're a wussy."
Brandon "Okay."

Kids meet outside school
Instigator tells Brandon to throw the first punch.
Brandon punches kid.
Wrestling ensues.
Bus driver calls school to report a fight.

Moral of the story?
Teen boys are stupid and deserve a day of detention. Both kids are being punished.

My reaction?

Chuckles, feels it's good "punishment."

Boys will be boys.

Added a G37X sedan to the family last night! Traded in Dana's '02 Intrepid with 130K miles on it. She loves her new ride Malbec Black with tan interior.

Boys lost in OT today. Sibley won 3-2. What a bummer for some of the kids. I think some of them are happy it's finally over. Brandon said he wants to take the summer off to relax, then get into bantam hockey next season. I'm going to have to train him this summer. lol

Our van is safe to drive again. Got the front brake pads on both sides. Lubed the rear wiper. Hopefully, the van will last another few years.

Tara is still working to chip away at me to get a new van.

 

Speaking of new vehicles the wife and I test drove her new car hyundai elantra coupe with all the options and will be picking it up on Wednesday. She's excited for having her first brand spankin new car.

 

It's going to be the year of new cars for some of us.
