Speaking of new vehicles the wife and I test drove her new car hyundai elantra coupe with all the options and will be picking it up on Wednesday. She's excited for having her first brand spankin new car.
Awesome! Congrats
My folks just traded in a Sonata for an Azera...really nice car. Hyundai had some real nice cars at the auto show....we were smitten with the Veloster. We actually went over to the dealer in West St. Paul and test drove one right after the show...they didn't have a turbo though and the regular 4 cyl had no get up and go. Really cool car with that 3rd cheater door to the back seat.
We just couldn't decide on a car, then we saw the $299/mo 24 month lease on the G...so we went for it. Now we can take our time to decide The G is pretty nice though, the VQ37 and all wheel drive really powers the car nicely! They're trying to get rid of all the g's to make room for the Q50.

So the funeral was good but very sad. Cop funerals are damn tear jerkers. I felt so bad for the widow. She's Tara's age, so I kept imagining what it would be like to lose someone at that age. Makes you really think about things.

cancer is a *****. forty-something is too young. heck, I lost my mother at 54 to cancer... and that was too young. as I get older, it seems even younger
