Okay, I'm seriously thinking about the CF overlay stuff.

*thanks, Charles!*

I'd like to try it out on the door handles and some interior parts. I'm leery about putting it on painted surfaces, though. What does that glue do to the surface of the car?

Good to see you, too. Glad you guys made it back w/o any problems.

I'll have to finalize the next big event.

It was nice meeting you all today. I didn't realize MN had such an active amount of Z people (close to me specifically haha)

It's not a really strong adhesive, just standard vinyl backing stuff. It should not be strong enough to peel paint off.

I've been thinking of doing a few small things too. The 3M di-noc cf comes in a bunch of different colors too.

I heard that the 3M stuff is really good. When I purchased the my wrap though, I went cheap just because I wanted to screw around and see how well it worked. Ended up being pretty good I think.

There are a few parts on the interior I would like to redo now that I have a better understanding on how to work with the material better. But it's not that hard. You just need a heat gun and a cutting knife. Also a proper surface to work on would not be a bad idea (I burnt my ottoman with the heat gun lol )

The link above is the same stuff that is used on my car.

You'll be happy to know that we've had over 20 Z's at my house before. It'll get better through the summer.

Thanks for the advice on the 3M stuff. Maybe we should buy a couple of rolls and share? I'd like to do some of the arm rest parts and the door handles.

All I gotta say is don't change your surroundings while wrapping! I did my roof with the Di-Noc (2months ago) and the garage was getting hot; as I opened the garage door.....a huge gust of wind blew in and ruined the wrap I was almost done with.

Oh and as long as you prep the surface your wrapping, the vinyl shouldn't peel any paint off (3M vinyl); I'd be worried about the cheap ebay stuff tho....I did a lot of testing on with adhesive liners that are used when I was a tech aide at 3M.

Clean Z's? That's not hard. Just make sure it doesn't rain.

Just got back from the gym in Lakeville. Took the younger boys with me. After my chest workout, we went to the indoor pool. Man, it was awesome. I sat in the Jacuzzi and sauna and stretched out my hips and hamstrings, then swam laps for 10 minutes. I feel great. I'm trying to stretch out and keep my right ankle and shin from improperly healing.

Erik, I won't make it to your place. The ladies had to go to Cottage Grove. I just realized I no longer have cable tv.

Dre ('Mai-Z' - The370z) here. It was good meeting a few of you guys. There were some sick 350's that give me more motivation to keep modding my car this summer.

What happened here? I hope they weren't after me! I was definitely excessively accelerating as I left.

Dre! Nice to see you "over here."

It wasn't you. It was me, Greg, and Ryan.
