thanks guys

I had to take a brake from the Z today for the wagon, had to finally get the snow tires off and put the summer wheels on.

But i did get the garage tidied up, the Z back on the stands, and the exhaust reinstalled.

I went to top off the diff fluid, as some spilled when i inverted the subframe off the car to get at some bolts. As soon as i popped off the fill plug, it started pouring out. The diff had been overfilled, and the fluid coming out smelled burnt.

I feel like I need to start a rescue. "Shane's house o' battered Zs."

opted to just completely drain it, so I'll need to pick up another qt to be able to fill it.

Just down to ride height, connecting and adjusting the sway bar, and alignment.

anyone have experience with the JWT clutch and flywheel combo? Looking at it for the G. They claim its street friendly (almost stock feeling) and good up to something like 570hp, but I'm worried about TQ not HP. Once the turbo is in I should be around 400ft lbs.

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. "New" Z owner here. The name is Steve (Hence the "scuba" steve name) and I'm just damn glad to finally have this baby. I'm finally getting into the tech side of cars, so if you thought there wasn't any dumb questions, Ii'll be sure to prove you wrong.

If you see a guy with a Handlebar mustache and a TOP GUN hat giving you a wave or a thumbs up, thats me.

And finally, here she is

not a fan of the JWT... and if you are going turbo I'd look elsewhere. it is just a modified stock clutch. I mainly don't like its engagement point. I have driven a couple of them and they engage right off the floor. I would think it could be adjusted a bit, but either way, it isn't holding nowhere's near 570 hp....

I had spec clutch that wasn't bad. started slipping at 14 psi (about 500 tq). if it were me buying now, Id do the same clutch I have now again. ATS twin disc carbon with 1350 pressure plate. Sharif @ forged will get you best pricing. Don't get an exedy twin disc. they might be good for other applications, but not so much for the Z.

if you are wanting cheaper, ACT will have something that can hold the power

Nordeast Minneapolis. If you see it parked outside a bar, don't hesitate to stop in, I'll buy the first one

Also. Audio recommendations anyone? I hate the fact I can hardly hear my music when driving with the windows down.

Yep basically everything in my profile is what I have to put on. Hoping to have it all done before July 12th, mostly because that is my first day back after my vacation but I also want time to enjoy it before putting it back in storage for the winter.
