SO... I heard somewhere today that this was the last day of the Rack being open today in Burnsville. (The same place Hooters was at for awhile and before that Timberlodge Steakhouse) To bad we couldnt get a meet over there last summer. I wonder what will go in there next.

Time to start planning a winter meet!!!!! already getting cabin fever.

BTW Dave. You need a different set of car dollys for the Z. I had to roll mine around today in the garage and was able to do it by myself with pretty much ease.

Anybody else been watching the new Kennedy assassination documentary on the History channel lately?? Heard alot of new information that was kind of interesting.

Hey everyone, I am moving to the twin cities area (Burnsville to be exact) from texas two days after christmas, and know absolutely no one there. I have a 04' 350z with not really any mods at the moment, but have had a few other Z cars in the past and love them. I am just wanting to drop in and see whats going on as far as the z world goes in the area. I am looking forward to the move, and maybe meeting with a few other z owners sometime.

I was there this last week for a few days and after seeing snow and 16* weather then returning to the warm sunny south I am looking for a winter vehicle so the friend doesn't get exposed to the brutal winter conditions and salt.

Welcome Michael, You'll have 3 immediate members close to you (Burnsville/Apple Valley )and a couple more not that far away(Bloomington/Farmington) as well as others scattered around the TC. Yeah most of us store our Z's since the salt/sand/pot holes are brutal in MN winters. We have at least a couple of group activity meets (bowling/dinner/movie go-carts) during the winter to keep in touch and some of us just hang out when time allows. Don't worry about the mods, Im pretty stock as well so you'll have company there lol.

LOL you're not the only one to be moving from Texas to MN, there's a few MN members on here that did the same as well as one member who just Moved from MN to Texas. So I'm just curious why move from driving the Z year round to only 6 months out of the year?? I think there is a meet in the works after Thanksgiving so hopefully we can meet ya in person then.

I'm from Apple Valley and right down the road SmoothZ aka Dave and Ryan who's on the border of Burnsville/Apple Valley. I'm pretty familiar with the Burnsville area where will you be at??

 

Welcome, Michael. I think with our cabin fever, we'll have to get a south suburb meet going pretty quickly. I have days off starting December 21st, so I'll have plenty of time to meet up with everyone.

Greg, that sucks about the Rack. I kept looking over there everytime I drove by and thought about a Z meet. Maybe we should do Champps in Bville or even a big club meet at the ProKart place.

Tara's been asking me what I want for Xmas, and I honestly don't know what I want or need. I could always think of something from Z1, though.

silverbullet, I am relocating for work. I flew up there last Monday and it was 81 in TX when I left, and it was 32 there when I arrived. Guess I have to invest in some winter clothes. I am living off of 134 on Clinton Place. seems like it is close to the main part of Burnsville.

 

Yeah that's about 3 miles from me.
