Hope everyone got enough to eat today, I know I did lol. A snowmobile would be fun as long as you have friends with them, I would think it would be meh riding solo all the time. So if you can get that and still get what you want for the Z by spring then why not.

I have a few friends who ride. If I get the sled I would also need to get a trailer and would be spending in excess of over 4k so my funds for the Z would be pretty limited if any for spring.

Would you still be able to get it up and running? If you think you'll get to ride it a bunch then go for it, but if you only ride 5-10 times then Id save it for the Z, Id wanna get my money out of it in the short time there is to use it, esp since we don't have snow yet.........yet.

Yep It would be up and running just no mods. I take it you never rode before. I've grown up on them from the age of 7 till 23. Sold it, and have been looking to get back into it the last three years, even more so this year. I rode quite a bit back in the day definitely more than 10x's. Also this topic started after I was a little disappointed in the black Friday sale Z1 had. Wasn't that big of a sale, I was hoping it was going to be off of the their sale price that they've had all year vs only being off MSRP. So for a quick example that clutch that says is $500 off that's only $500 off the MSRP which is only a $100 off the sale price.

Bummer on the sale huh, yeah Ive never been on one. I hear they're fun so if you can get the Z going and don't mind not getting the mods then why not? Have fun with a new toy and get back to another hobby.

Damn you guys and your toys.

Guys, I'm at a loss as to how to give the motivational speech to Brandon to try harder and work his *** off in hockey. Any pointers?

I quit around 14 and now I'm playing again and I was good when I quit, anyways in hindsight my life would have been much dif if I would have worked for it on the ice. Don't know if that gives u any ideas but hockey can be a great gateway to local schools and cute girls love hockey players lol

The boy is 13 and is in his 3rd season. He's not like the other kids that have been skating and playing since they were 5. So I have higher expectations thinking that he should work harder and smarter. I guess I'm disappointed that he won't take any advice from me.

Sounds like he should have quit like he had talked about in the off season. Im sure he's also frustrated with his teammates who don't show up and make everyone else give that much more. Gonna be a long season for ya.

Sometimes it's not the motivational speech he needs. If you question his work ethics than either A. he doesn't like playing it anymore. or B. He's not having any fun like he used to be. Kids his age you have to make it fun in order to enjoy it or maybe like all kids as they grow up just want to try something different. If you truly like playing/love the sport does he watch the wild games on TV?? Have you taken him to a couple to see if he enjoys watching? Or are you just maybe pushing him into something and he's doing it for the attention because he has two younger brothers??....

Sometimes its the one on one that makes the sport great have you ever just tried going to the rink just the two of ya and play??

I hear ya. He goes to all his practices, crossfit, and games. Some of the teammates don't. He does like the game, but he doesn't tell me much. It's the age. I have taken him to see a HS game as well as the Wild play. I guess I'll take him to another game or maybe even go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a game.

3k for a bed? Wow. Does it cook? I get it, though. Happy wife...

Brandon's team lost pretty badly yesterday and one kid broke a wrist. Our coach got thrown out of the game, which was odd.

Yea got it at the Mattress Firm store there in AV, It's a Stearns and Foster spring bed, it has a spring within a spring design with individual pads on top of the spring with a 2" memory foam on top of that. Moving up from a Queen size bed to a King, 16" of more space. Figured it's good to invest in a good bed being that you do spend a 1/3 of your life on one lol

Thought about temperpedic beds but me and Kristen we were just not really impressed with them at all.

That sux about Brandons team. Hopefully this doesn't discourage him.
