I'd actually really like to get Falkens. 225/40/19 and 245/40/19

Lol. Then we should be able to go in on something, those tires are really good too. I had the FK 452's on my last car (rsx-s), they held great and would suite the Z well. I was thinking about buying the same ones myself. I am waiting on pricing for the wheels I want (Volk GT-S's in matte black) WahhhoO! I'll look into those size soon for ya, when I bought them for my RSX I paid like 40 less than retail per tire. I can also get mount and balance for like $10 per wheel too.

Where do you get that kind of deal? Do you own a tire shop? Let's have a Z meet there! LOL

What's so good about Falkens?

How about BFG?

My brother has been tryin to start up a shop for a little while and we have a business license so over the years we have set a few accounts with various distributors.

We have a personal shop in Savage, I met a guy named Ricky last year from here...he came buy to talk about re-clear coating his Volk's. We couldn't do it because they have to be takin apart and Rays said they have to be disassebled in a jig. Anyways...

I like Falkens because their grip is awesome and the wear very slow...thats a comdo you just don't find. The softer a tire is, the better it will stick, but the faster it will wear...Falkens are different for some reason.

BFG not soo much, they have serious tendencies to wear unevenly and cup...which you own a Z so you know about the cupping in the front tires.

That's cool. I'm in AV, so Savage isn't too far. Sounds like a trip to visit is in order when the weather permits.

As for Falkens, sounds like it might be better than my BFG. That's a heartbreaker since I've been a fanboy for many years. And yes, I know about the wear and cupping. Road noise is terrible.

I have 18's with 245/40 and 275/40 for tire sizes.

Nice, I have a buddy that lives in Farmington that drives an orange auto...do you know him?

That sucks about the road noise, I worked at a Tires Plus for about 4 years when I was younger and had lots of people dishin out that complaint on BFG's.

What size wheels are you running? Stockers w/ larger rubber?

I know who you're talking about. He's got aftermarket exhaust that's really loud. White wheels?

I have 18x9 and 18x10 SSW D5R's. Look at the garage link above my avatar.

Sweet Z man, I dig the pics!

Yeah thats a buddy of mine, I never really made an effort for any of the meets last year because I bought my Z in July and wanted to enjoy it and do some mods.

His exhaust is loud, we compared too.. I installed the Bassani True Dual.

In the next few months I will be re-painting the hood, bumper cover, and side skirts (cuz of minor paint chips). I am also looking into a front lip and maybe aftermarket side skirts...any suggestions would be cool. It would be nice to do it all at the same time ya know?

We'll deffinatley have to meet up some time soon. I have a large distributor for parts so when we enter orders with decent quantities we get good discounts. You name it we can most likely get it. I have been ordering Royal Purple oil at a killer price too, maybe others would be interested in stuff like that. Don't think I'm some skeeze vendor, just a guy who hates payin retail...lol

Ahh makes sense, I guess.

My recruiter has yet to inform me, but I told him I'd like to leave sometime in April or May.

The tire place should allow us to pick them up, so no shipping charges. I should have some prices later today or tomorrow, I'll let you guys know soon.

Thanks, man. I like it, too.

Nismo skirts are something I've been looking at for a while. I have settled on them as the only sideskirt I'll go with, but I want power mods first.

Hopefully, it's May when you can enjoy some of the MN weather and come down for a final going away party.

First... go for the Nismo sides.

I'm hoping it's in May as well. I wanna get in some good drives with all you guys and stuff before I part ways. I'll be back around August for a couple weeks, so I'll make sure to do something then as well... so don't think this is a forever "good-bye".
