They're probably gonna rip up the roads around there again and make it a bigger maze to get in.

 

They're doing a major project there now with Lindau Lane. Dug down and made a tunnel so there's no traffic lights and pedestrians can walk above and w/o cars getting in the way.

I don't buy the argument that family owned stores would lose to their competitors. You're not losing if you're not opened and making money.

 

I am in the belief that liquor sales are pretty finite... they are basically at a given level. so whether you have 6 days to buy booze or 7, the same amount will be sold. If I were a store owner I would see little reason to have my store open an extra day. You may initially gain a little business but in the end you are basically spreading the same amount of sales over an extra day.... an extra day of liability, an extra day of wages, an extra day of lights, etc.

I don't drink, don't own a shop, so I don't really give a ****, but that's my 3rd party, objective, opinion
