Have any of you guys ever gone to a Cars and Coffee event?

 

Oh yea....

 

Was it that fun? Someone told me about it before I left just looked it up looks fun. Read some forum post about it and people complained about the staff being stupid about what cars could go in like 500 whp cars but turned away cause they looked to stock but they let in 20+ bone stock gtr.

Well if I went the earliest one I think I would be able to make would be the Aug 1. Since i won't be back till mid June so I'm thinking my car won't be done till mid July.

 

I go once or twice a year, I really just go to look and don't care to enter my car. Im NOT a morning person so the weather has to be nice for me to go, seems like last year it rained 75% of the days that the event was on.

 

I really like going to C&C. It's just a nice way to start a warm Saturday morning. It's also a great place to watch people and look at toys.

Sigh...so many cars out there that I want. I would like another toy, but I'm just frustrating myself by looking.

Found a really nice '73 240Z in Houston. Man, if I had some cash right now, I'd probably buy it.

The real HKS is 2.25" and all the replicas are 2.5" if my research is right.

I'm watching a video on YT about the GT-R on the Ring.

 

Wondering if it's worth it after labor or if I should just pull the trigger on a new CBE.

 

Im sure it will be about $200 with labor here in MN, unless someone has a hook up for the install.

 

I wonder if we could get a group rate at one shop. Tell them that we have several people interested in doing this and see if they'd be willing to lower the labor costs.

 

$10-15 tops I bet if that, it's such a small job so I doubt it.
