Devin is playing his first tackle game tonight. I think our team is going to lose like 48 to 0. Our team didn't even get the playbook, and the other teams look like they're squared away. This is going to be tough, but somebody has to lose.
Playing at Hayes Field at 6pm

He wants to try it out. I'll let him try. At least he can say that when he gets older.

Someone has to lose, but it's going to be the other team! have ye no faith??
Finally done! I'm not big on the black welting and bolt caps. I havent looked for grey or silver ones. I was going to run without the welting but they dont flush up enough and the welting makes up for a lot of it. This winter I'll try and flush em up or I might end up going with OG over fenders once I finally see them on a car. Had an oil scare last night, damn double oil filter gasket. Oil went everywhere, had to pull the front apart and clean it up. Made it all the way into the bumper. Shes finally ready for track time this weekend.
but think of the children..... you have to because they don't know enough to protect themselves against these severe dangers. I heard it is like a 1:2 chance they will have dramatic brain injury by 1/2 time

listened to the radio this morning... Radio stations sunday morning serving the public BS and all...
anyways, they were talking about concussions. no tackle football till 14. young brains don't have some nerve coatings on them and that makes them even more prone to damage from collisions.
I mean, you do love your son? think of the children Dave

Well.. actually.. the course was designed by Vivek Goel, a guy who runs a Z06 nationally. Good Eye

Speaking of, Here's the west course.
At nats you run for two days, 3 runs on the east course and 3 runs on the west course and Your fastest runs from each day are combined. It's absolutely stunning to watch drivers execute runs that are within 10ths of each other over two days on courses they've only seen at most, 3 days before hand and never driven.

Yes, I love my kids.
Not to be obtuse, but if it were that dangerous then the community shouldn't offer it and make it attractive to the kids or the parents. Not that I was pushing him into it, but I want him in a sport and he chose that. I'm not going to force him into or out of something (unless it's hockey), but he is an energetic kid on good days. He needs physical activity.

dave... how do you not see the sarcasm? my kid is in football as well. I know at least one hockey parent that said his kid isn't playing football in fear of concussions..... ummmm, not sure how that makes sense...
think of the children....
but your comment about the community thing, yeah um, well no comment
ugh, back to reality after another 4 day weekend and Proving Grounds. Was a good weekend, didnt break anything. I did have my inner fender lining come off at around 120mph on the back straight. Had 2 instructors ride with, learned a lot from them and they both said the car performs awesome on the track.
Video of my quickest standing start run. Missed some lines and slid some on the carousel, and still have some rubbing I need to sort out.
