I honestly can't remember where that was taken. Probably saw an empty lot and went for it.

I've thought about tracing down the VIN. What I could do is run my name in the system and see all the cars that have ever been titled to me. Oh, wait...

Stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. Not sure what I want to do for the future when it comes to my job right now. I like who I work with when they're working and I like what I do, but lately there just seems to be a never ending load of BS lately.
ugh.. end rant...

Sometimes I have to think about how bad it could really be. Try to put things in perspective, like how good you have it compared to people who live in mud huts and can only do things during daylight because they have no electricity.

I don't know how people do it. Running/jogging when it's cool and wet is like my kryptonite. I thought it was warm enough for a run, but 10 minutes later my toes were going numb from the damp air. Called it quits to come back another day.

those of you track guys, what tires do you run? Right now I have Nitto NT05 and they have grip great, but burn down decently quick on highway (UTQR 200). Looking for something thats going to still be great for the track next year, but I wont be worried about burning through in a summer or if I take a road trip.

Other option is get a second set of wheels for track tires, but I dont know if I want to do that quite yet.

My Dunlop Z2s are in great shape after the entire summer of auto crossing (14 events i think?), and multiple road trips (Lincoln, Milwaukee, Iowa), and a few hot lap PDX sessions around DCTC. They're also a UTQG of 200. The new Z2 Star Specs are supposedly wearing even better though.

When i checked them, 3 outta 4 were at 6/32nds, and the last was 5/32nds with even wear across the entire face (285s)

Where are you seeing the wear? If i remember right you weren't running much camber in the front.. you may be significantly overworking parts of the tire.

I've tracked my Z on Sumitomo HTR tires and also drove on them to Zdayz and back. Pretty good tires, IMO.

I'm having serious issues with the Z and not starting. Even with the charger plugged in all the time, the Z is having a hard time starting. WTF

That Optima red top battery is still new in my books.

what kind of charger? Charger could be overcharging the battery causing issues. AGM batteries require a certain kind of charger (some would agrue)

check the voltage on the battery before starting. See if you are 12.5-13, check while the car is running, should be 13.6.

check for corrosion on all leads to the starter.

starter itself could be going. I had a tractor that had a starter going out and it acted like a weak battery.

I have it charging based on AGM type battery. It allows me to choose. The charger registered the battery power at less than 50% when I first hooked it up. The voltage gauge normally stays at 14V. There is no corrosion on the posts or wires.

I'll keep researching.

We did have a really cold winter last year. Start up the car and listen for any hissing sound coming from the battery. Optima's are known for cracking during extreme cold weather when not in use for a long time. Happened to Erik happened to my BIL. I've always taken my battery inside during the winter. Otherwise take a volt meter and check it before and after you start the car. Make sure it's reading a constant 14v if not time to replace that alternator.

Hey, Greg. Thanks for coming over to confirm my suspicions. Battery is out and ready for transport!

I should start a HPD class. Seems some people really need this service.
