Alternator is fine was at 14+ volts when running than after he shut it off I left the volt meter on and it dropped without doing anything from 12.5 v down to 11.3 with in a matter of a few minutes.

 

Dave, if you want to pull the stock battery out of my Z you can have it.
It's working fine.. I'm just going to an 11lb unit come spring.

No idea. It came with the car and they're none to easy to read when they're in that pocket. It ran the car fine though, started well even around 40 in april.

Still NO speedo on dash or electric, then 30 seconds in, ABS/BRAKE light comes on-FML this is annoying-rear wheel speeds obv not issue, havent had time to check fronts-

 

Friday might be bad for poker but Saturday is free so far. Hope you have a E-85 gas station near by, because some shop (you know who) didn't hook my twin pumps up right and now i only can use half a tank till i can fix it till next spring. My boost controller is also not right so yeah me I get to run on wastegate, still 385 to the wheels on lowest possible setting. Definitely not happy though with the customer service and quality of work from them.

Yes, there is E85 by my house. It's the Kwik Trip on Cedar and 147th.

 

Just checked and I planned it for Saturday at 7PM.

 

I just want to say that a little birdie stopped out and gave me a little insight into some happenings. remember there are 3 sides to every story.... your side, the shop's side, and the truth.

I have nothing to gain or lose in this race. All I know is there are some respectable shops and some not so respectable shops. No shop is 100% perfect. Nor is any shop going to please every single customer that comes in the door. Some customers just can't be pleased. I have personally dealt with "some shop" and know they are honest, good people. More so than many shops out there.

What I am getting at, is maybe you need to reflect on how things went down and how your actions played into the entire situation.... before coming on the forum and talking bad about them. "some shop" is a great asset to the tuner community in our area and we are lucky to have such a shop.

You can ask around about me. I have spent a few dollars on my cars and even more time. I have dealt with multiple shops, in our area and some out of state. I have had plenty of bad things to say about some of them. I have a problem when someone comes out in a forum to bad mouth the good ones.

I can empathize about you being unhappy with how things ended up, but don't think for one second all blame falls on "some shop"

 

Dave.. sent you an email. I do appreciate the invite and need to get out and see some of my Z friends again. it's been too long. Sat isn't going to work for me; I am still doing cleanup on the farm, my kid starts hockey, I am doing skater evaluations for two sessions, he has a birthday part at 6 that night, and I have a friend from high school's annual halloween party that night - momma would be kind of pissed if I skipped on that. we haven't so much as went out to dinner in 6 months.... that said I will be training shoulders that day at the gym
