Aight, sorry I haven't been able to post, my work has been an absolute cluster**** as of late. I haven't done anything yet to solve anything, just found a way to shift into 6th without it grinding bad. 2005Z, Stock trans with 113k miles on it, Z1 motorsports stage 2 clutch with about 30k miles on it. Ill try to get it into a Nissan tech for all that jazz, that way they can let me know of any other issue that arises as well.
Made it out to C&C, didn't get in obviously, but had some buddies with and we spent just most of the time in the American ""section"" and I didnt get a chance to make it where the MNNI guys usually are
For when Travlee pops his head in here, I saw a G with a DFW G's sticker on it a couple weeks ago. Thought that was pretty neat.
Car scene here seems to be pretty decent in some of the smaller groups. I've ran into some other Z owners and just chatted one on one for a while and everyone has been pretty chill.

MNNI has grown to be pretty big over the years. Good group of peeps, try to keep the drama to a minimum, and trying to give back to the community as well. Probably one of the best groups I've been part of. Unfortunately still get the idiots also lol
On that note... wholy crap I haven't been in here in ages
MN scene is growing, finally getting more 500+ builds coming out of the wood work, still a lot of "stanced" kids though.

Very cool. I know a guy named "Cleve" from the past when we both had srt-4's (I think he still has his?) and he usually posts a lot of pictures of meets and it looks like a good group of people out at them.
I think I were to get a 350/370z, it would remain basically stock minus some basic bolt-on's to just liven up the car a bit. I am still debating whether to keep my dsm as a fun/project car for speed/power or move on to a new platform. I've been into DSM's for about 10-11 years now and would like a change of pace, but don't know if I should leave for good or just put it on the backburner.

Surprised there's one here in the south burbs. Don't they normally sit at daddy's garage in the nicer parts of the Cities?

Indeed, it's been a while. It's a Z, so of course I'm enjoying it it's gone through a slight transformation since last year. I have plans to do a complete respray, the paint and body is a little rough.

Is it a free for all fun day, or will there actually be a competition? I should look that up.

Gotta figure out how to get my kids there so they can watch the event.
Tara is working, Brandon is working but gets done at 6, and my 2 other kids will be at home. Hmmm....

Sigh.... drove the Z a lot yesterday doing errands and stuff. It was fun but I could definitely tell that current technology gives cars a huge advantage over my Z. Either people are mashing their gas pedals at every chance or I'm just a slow driver. Or maybe the Z is slow.
Going to go look at used cabinets today for the garage. It's in Rosemount.

but yes, your Z is slow and newer cars are getting faster (generally speaking)
