Greg, it was so nice that I wouldn't mind going back. We'll have to get another group to go.

we got pounded pretty good with rain. putting our transplanting on hold for a couple days.

the rain days aren't all bad. they gave me a chance to get the car back on the road. I had it out today for about an hour. Longest drive (shake down) since the motor/turbos were put back in. One slight fuel leak on a fitting, but half a turn on a wrench sorted it. just have to keep watching everything for a few hundred miles, but the car feels really good. I hate to even say how good it feels. I am keeping it under 10 psi right now, so nothing more than maybe 2/3 throttle and really keeping it under 5500 rpms, but it pulls like a freight train.

It feels the most sorted it has ever felt. really feeling confident it is going to make good power

Got the garage cleaned up to fit two cars and my mower. Found a few minutes to put my lower lip on. Cannot wait to get my new garage up. Be nice to have a little room to breathe with everything

I thought you kept your cars on your farm in that pole barn.

I could see how you thought that being that I only had them down there when they were being worked on or fixed (and obviously for winter storage). My z seems to need a lot of work . when up and running properly, I keep them at my house. In the summer, there isn't room at the farm . maybe on the hoist there is, but really not a good place for them to be when we are in full farm mode.

when my new garage is up I'll have more than enough space.... well at least till I fill it up with crap. I always have winter projects going on for the house. This year it was the back entry way and closet. Anyway doing work out of the existing garage keeps momma's car out in the elements which isn't making her any happier with me.

for now, I squeeze what I can into what I have.

Speaking of home projects, when I get back from my vacay I'll need to start tearing into the bathroom and tile it to be clean and indestructible.

2005, Black on Black on Black. Rohanna wheels in the back, shitty "drag" wheels on the front (long story) no window tint, no front plate. I'm also the guy with the handle bar mustache you may have seen walking around at meets.

ok, now also, looking at engines. I believe my car to have a build date of 09/04. The engines I'm seeing for sale on one site state """ (3.5L, VIN A, 4th digit, VQ35DE), Without 35th Anniversary; from 11/04""" My car is not an anniversary edition btw. With this engine work? Otherwise my usual mechanic is talking north of $3000 for an engine from a junkyard they trust

(link for ease here: http://www.buyusedengine.com/used_en...&search=Search)

and hopefully a pic of my car for recognition yall

Got a claybar kit yesterday, given to me by a friend. I plan on using it soon to see if I can get those pesky "things" off the paint.

Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois , Indiana, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa
Can't believe this regional section covers that many states but hardly anyone posts. I guess social media has really flourished and taken over.
