MN Twistee Cruise this Saturday (July 12th)
Hey guys,
Let me know what you think. My wife is finally giving me a reprieve from baby duty so I am thinking of doing a quick AM cruise this Saturday (July 12th). I've unfortunately missed out on the last few events and my poor Z has been relegated to the garage for the past 4 weeks. I'm thinking that I need to get her out to stretch her legs a bit. For anyone that made the Z Spring cruise I was thinking of doing a somewhat shortened version that would take us down to Wabasha and then over on the twistees to Zumbrota and then back up to the cities. I figure all in the all the trip will take about 4 hrs to do. We could stop in one of the small towns for breakfast along the way. I'm thinking a meetup time of 8am. I know, I know, it's early you might say but I get the best of both worlds this way and this would put us back into the twin cities at or before noon, just in time to change dirty diapers. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Let's go have breakfast at the UofM and watch the girls' track team....

Alright, change in plans. Anyone up for Saturday morning breakfast in Stillwater or Uptown in Minneapolis instead? Around 8-9am? Just found out that I have family coming into town later afternoon. Not sure of a restaurant yet, any suggestions? The French Meadow Bakery off of Lyndale in Uptown Minneapolis is not a bad location since they have a ton of street parking and it is easy to get in and out. If we get there early enough we can get everyone parked on the street. Plus they have a really good breakfast quesadilla!

Here's another Uptown place near Lake Calhoun:

They serve breakfast all day starting at 8am.

You guys opposed to French Meadow off of Lyndale? I know that a lot of good looking girlies hang out there! We could take a cruise around the lake when we're done.

Sounds like it's the French Meadow for breakfast!

I forgot to mention that it's an organic restaurant for anyone that has not been here before. I know, I know, I'm not usually a huge fan myself but I have to say they do have good food and is very often frequented by good looking girls. If anyone has any objections or has another suggestion we can certainly hit up another place.
What time are we thinking - 8am? 9am?
