Hey All! Quick Question
Hey Liberty, it's not wierd to see 2003 350z for under 15k now a days anymore.. Especially during this time of the year. The main thing you gotta look for in a 350z is carfax it, see how many owners it was owned by before being auctioned off to the dealership. Chances are that if it's been through many owners, the car has probably gotten the geebies reved out of it and the transmission is near toast ($3000 dollars the last time I checked). The VQ is a tough engine so it won't break as easily, but the stock Tranny WILL grind out if it's been through a lot of owners. Seeing that the one you're looking at is an automatic tranny, chances are it was more adult driven than anything else.
2003 350z(s) were also well known for their tire feathering problems, you also want to make sure that the chamber system has been addressed and all the recals has been performed. When I bought my 2003, I made the person I was buying from write me a written statement that if the tire feathering existed after I have driven it for no more than 5k miles, then they would issue me a full buy-back.
Also, just a point of notice that the rims on the car you are looking at are no longer stock anymore; those are 2007 rims, so the owner has obviously swaped them out. The dealer is telling you "we don't know much more about the car" so let that raise a red-flag, basically they're telling you "buy at your own risk." Question everything, question anything, and question all. Remember, it's easy to buy a car but hard to sell.

Definatly Carfax it.
Also make sure there is no grinding in the tranny when it shifts, or that it slipps when shifting. I would be leary if a dealership said that but if it was a one owner car more then likely it was a nice weather warrior and hardly got driven by an older clientel.
If you REALLY need someone to take a trip, I can go out there I have been underneath these things more then most thats for sure.
