Hey guys,

Wow, I didn't know all of you were from Cincinnati. I'm in Cincinnati too. I'll try to make it to Devou on the 15th - although I'm just stock, so nothing exciting here.

Actually, you guys might be able to help me out. My Z needs a new clutch and flywheel. Do you guys know of a good mechanic or sport shop that I can get this installed at? I checked the dealer and they wanted to rip me off ($2100 for the set!). Also, anyone ever hear of Competition Clutches? I got a quote from a vendor on here for a stage 2 clutch with flywheel for $699.

Any opinions?

I take my car up to Jim Sieberts auto in fairfield, he is an awsome guy to deal with and has reasonable prices. that sounds really cheap for clutch and flywheel. ive never heard of competition clutches. i would do some more research on your choices. do it once, do it right.

There is a guy near Cincy who is a member of my club - he has specialized in the Z32 gen but is expanding into the 350. Has a built Z32 TT that is one of the most awesome cars you will see and is one of the best mechanics I know. E-mail him at davistj@cinci.rr.com - Tim may be able to save you some money. Don't know that for sure but i can vouch for his work. Tell him ZROC sent you his way.

Thanks guys for the suggestions on installers.

Phenom - the Competition clutch I am looking at is this one.

What do you think? I saw a few people on here have it and like it really well. Also, thanks for the reco. I will call Jim Sieberts.

PerfZ: I will email this guy you suggested. Do you know if he works at a shop or has his own shop?

I did mine over the winter with my buddy. If you have a place to do it I could help you out. I have all the tools. It will save you a lot of money.

I just have the act combo with the streetlite flywheel. Not to sure about competition clutches.....haven't heared about them.
