Test & Tune @ Milan, MI 9/24
lets c how this one works out
im gonna be at milan wed. 9/24 from 4:30pm til close (9ish)
a few buddies of mine will be bringing their cars as well.
its kind of the last big "thing" before winter hits...for us anyway.
this semi-meet is going to happen either way, but if anyone else is interested, then just show up.
nothing major, just a nice quiet day at the track.
i believe im the only Z that will b there as of now, but we'll c how things turn out. see you there
or not...

Hey Jspec! I saw you a few months ago driving down telegraph rd!! I work at the lodge & civic center. I was in my maroon eclipse at the time, But i do remember tring to get through traffic to get a good look at your car!
The turbo cams for my eclipse cam in today so I will be able to install them and fire up the new motor for the first time this weekend!! So if I am past the break in period on the motor I may be going down to milan in the eclipse. I need to break in and tune my extra injector controller on the dyno, if i dont get it done ill probably shoot down in the Z!

ETX did you have any trouble trying to catch me down telegraph? I usally am flying threw that area . Will you bring the eclipse of the Z to milan? I am so trying to go on Wednesday. I am having some family issues to say the least. BTW why are you working on a 420a? The 4g63 is such a fun motor to play with. It really comes alive at 20 PSI with AWD. Man I miss my 97 GSX well that is until I get into the Z.

Yep, I got stuck behind a soccer mom while tring to catch you to get a look at your Z.
The 420a is an awsome motor! After buying it I lost interest in my 4g63 and sold it. I have been tweakin the settings on my secondary injector controller and will be in lansing at VT engine development dyno tuning. Yesterday my tires were breaking loose in 2nd at 40 mph on 11 psi. Probably because of the cold weather, but intense none the less! I just put the turboxs type H bov on it today but it needs some adjusting. So i think ill be bringing the Z to milan if i can make it tomarrow, as the eclipse still needs a lot of tweaking.
We took the eclipse and Z out last night to an industrial park to see how they would match up. I drove the eclipse and my buddy drove the Z. He is an ok driver. 1st run I took him on the launch and he never caught me. 2nd run he took me on the launch and I managed to catch up to him a bit, but by the time we shut down he had 1/2 a car on me still. Not bad for 11 psi! My Z is dead stock, and my eclipse is still running pig rich!
Hope to see you guys tomarrow!
Actually now that I think of it, the weatherman said its supposed to be a really crappy day tomarrow. I guess we will see!

ahhhh! I didn't get there until around 7:45, and they decided to close at 8 . I saw this guy I know with that badass rx7 that was on the cover of modified mag and talked to him for a while then took off.
Ill most likely be going up there next wensday with my eclipse.

Assuming I get the bogs worked out on my eclipse I am going to be there with both cars. If not I may just come out in the Z again. Hopefully a bit sooner than 8pm like last week! see you there!

MySunset350Z we will see if the slicks help plus you can check out what they look like on the car . Plus I want to check out your install!! BTW how did you deal with the brake light switch? The wire on the ecu or did you just wire a switch to the fuse box?

i really want to go, but i've making up excuses not to because its starting to get expensive going every week. specially since i have to get my bottle filled each time.
i guess i can swing by tomorrow...even if i dont race....i am curious about those slicks u got. i dont get off work untill 5 tomorrow so i probably wont get there until 530-630pm.
i bought one of those single fuse holders, and ran a switch from the fuse panel. if u look at my instal pics, the one where im showing the opener switch, u can see a red dot a little bit down from the switch....that red dot is the switch the controls the brake fuse.
i think the power loss was only with the automatic z's....i dont believe max said anything about it bogging down the manual z's. there is a huge difference for me with that switch. i can just sit there and burn all day. pretty good for an auto. u drive a manual right?
i guess i will c u tomorrow then.
1 of my buddies will be up there tomorrow running his 95 mustang modded to hell. he got scared after he found out i put nitrous in my car, so he went and got himself a 125 basic dry shot. he should be running low 12's high 11's unless he cant drive. oh well.
the other guy coming along with him is running his 03 cobra. bla
ill be staying at a 50 shot......for now.
til then...

I really wanted to bring them both, but I am having problems with some weird vibrations on the eclipse. I don't think I want to drag it until i get that figured out. So I get home around 6 and I'm going to shoot down in the Z asap! woo hoo!
