I have heard about 1010ths from the local group I run with (3Balls). I did a little bit of research and I found that Chin Motorsports is actually expensive compared almost to everyone out there but they do 30 min sessions and have less number of participants. So, if you have lots of $$ to burn and prefer less people this might be a better place. I actually heard about Chin Motorsports from a guy that was driving GT-R at the last track event. He said he didn't like 20 min sessions as you need to run up and grid as soon as they announce your group. When you have 30 min sessions you don't need to be worried about track time and go in 5 mins after the group starts and you'll still get enough.
OTOH, 3Balls is cheaper with more number of participants but you get more track time than promised every single time.

Dominick sucks about the clutch. I'm probably done for the year considering I now have a wedding to pay for next year on top of tuition and Sarah's ring. *sigh*

Deepu and Lee,
Here is the video from the first session at Mid Ohio last weekend with some of the TTU and TTS guys. The Silver Z06 at the beginning is my buddy, but he is just HPDE like me. You'll see the TT cars blow by me later in the video.

3Balls is running an event at Grattan on Sep 11. HERE are the details
- Entry fee $200
- Unlike normal events this will have only 40 cars, 2 run groups.
- Group 1 has open passing
- Group 2 has point by passing
- 30 min sessions
- Morning sessions will be run normal direction and afternoon will be run in reverse
Too bad I can't make it

What do you think of the Quaiffe? I've been looking into getting a Carbonetic, OS Giken, or Nismo LSD. I really like the idea of a clutch type differential, but would love to hear what you have to say about the Quaiffe.

I've never tracked the car when it had an open diff in it, so I can't compare. I will say though, that the Quaiffe holds up really well. I have been putting it through hell. The car seems to exit the corners really well now that I have better tires and the diff helps it bite down and really go. Sorry I couldn't really help compare.

No big deal. It's just nice to find out what other people are running. Coming from the Subaru community there is such a wealth of information on parts and setups and, well everything. As far as these cars are concerned, not too many people run them, and it's tough to find information.
Did you install the diff yourself?
