I'm going to be driving back from Minneapolis to VA over the weekend. And since I have some time to visit certain locations, I don't mind stopping in some places.
I don't want to just drive straight home, and since I have the following Monday off for the holiday, I want to make a road trip out of it.
I pass through Chicago and some Ohio cities.
Going to spend the Saturday night into Sunday in Chicago.
What are some areas of interest that I can visit on the trip? I don't want to go crazy out of the way, but if it's 30mins or so off my route, I'm fine with it.
Areas of interest would be, food, local attractions, scenie route (photography op), etc.
