i will be there on Saturday with my car, which is pretty much stock so im not quite sure why im showing, but come say hi to me if youre there. im showing with the Redline Motorsport booth. Im not going to win anything, although there is a class for best girl car, but i dont even have aftermarket rims. hey someone should lend me theirs for the day!

I think I will go tomorrow. Should be there in the early afternoon after I go to the gym. I will definitely stop in to the Redline booth.

 

im going to be there too. carexcess is supposed to be there and i really need to see out a few things they're selling on their site in person. not sure what time ill get there though. probably 4-5ish.

Wow, its Friday and I am in the Garage. I feel like a loser for sitting home. I went out for happy hour and now I am cleaning the car. Put one coat of Crystal Guard on then one mist and wipe. Put the Carbon fiber engine cover along with the NISMO oil cap on. Dam I wish that InjenSES1985RS exhaust would show up.

I will be going to see Shift_Z at the show. I want to see your wing. Thats next for me.

 

28. IGYZ - Detroit/Las Vegas

 

hey no one came to the show on Sat? or else they didnt come by to see me! Saw Yancy and Cain there, but that was it! its okay, the show was kinda lame anyway

 

I was there around 3-430pm. I saw your awsome grounding kit. I need one now. I also like you custome leather seats. There was only one guy around the Redline area and I didn't want to ask where the owner of the Z went off to. I thought the show was ok since I had not been to one of these before. Most of the time I am going to classic shows. Those are bad. At least there was music and stuff going on.

The thing the cracked me up was the car show going on the same time the Mary Kay meeting was going on. I bet we freaked them out.

By the way when I left, I forgot the Wings were playing. I though it would be ok to drive out along the water to the highway. It just so happened the game just got over. I was the only car among the limos and buses. I had more than a hundred comments on the car. All positive. I had a guy with a UAW jacket complimenting the car.

This just tells me with all the possible little problems we are getting (feathering, transmission, etc..) its all worth it. The feeling I got was great.

i was at the show with a buddy for about an hour if that. i was expecting a lot more then what i saw. it was pretty much the same thing with most of the cars there. over sized bodykits, 2234982 screens, a sprinkly of subs and amps. oh and lets not forget most cars there were dropped to the ground with those hydro kits they put on them. one word.... overkill. i did c 3 Z's. who had the sunset with a body kit on it? those side skirts looked sweet.

i spent all weekend "prepping" the car. im about 80% ready. another 1-2 day's work and im good to go. hopefully i can get some free time in the middle of the week. someone said spending friday night in your garage was sad? i got you beat. try friday, saturday and sunday night.

I agree, I didn't see anthing at the show that was an eye stopper. I was hoping to see some really off the wall cars.

 

this was the first show ive ever been to, so i guess i was pretty impressed at first, but after a while, it was all the same, civics, eclipses, and cavaliers, with body kits, graphics, wheels and painted interiors. all the same, just different colors. even the girl who one best 2dr street and best female car (grrrr.) her car was still just a civic with a lot of custom work. at least now i know what my competition is. my goal is to eventually beat her for best female car. although.....she said she has put 75k into her car....but i dont believe her.

 

What car was that michelle?? I took a sweet pic of your Z at the show but I'm not sure how to attach pics on here.

 

it was the civic with the licence plate embossed onto the trunk lid, it was bronze.

Yeah, Mdacko's Z looks sweet and the paint job on the body kit matches perfect. Did you win anything? I saw that the Z Roadster won something, but I'm not sure what. Personally, I did not like the blue paint, black CF front, sides, wing, and rear valance with the tan interior. Looked to mismatched for my tastes. I thought your car looked a lot better. I'm now looking for a body kit

Not to bash Civics (my brother owns one), but I would not put too much stock in anyone having $75,000 into a civic because those cars, as well as many others like it, are relatively speaking much cheaper to mod out. Besides, that's probably 4 X's the cost to purchase the car or the cost to purchase a new Viper.

actually, im still no where near ready with the n2o system. still a few things i want to change from last year. you'd think im installing it all over agian because of how long its taking me. if its not ready by saturday, ill just have to go N/A, and in that case lets not bring on the TT's. please.

 

Spotted a Redline coupe in Clarkston today. Flashed lights and waved -- no response.

Probably not someone from here.
