btw call me to get together,I still need to check out your car.
Chahny,
Happy to see your post! Glad that you still visit this forum. I'm also eager to check out your stone track Z. Everytime I see a Silverstone, I have doubt about my color selection, Silverstone really is beautiful.

Any mods in the plan?

Check your email, I listed some possible time to hook up.

Talk to you later.

mickey,
I didn't get your email, I think the spam filter zapped it.

I've got plans to mod the car but funds are low ever since I decided to go back to school. I do have a set of DC Sports Headers that I'm not sure what to do with.

Cain,

If you can get the CAN message list, that would be awesome.

Tried going thorugh a buddy at Bosch and had no luck.

Also, see if you can find out if there is a calibration procedure for the auto up/down windows. It seems that there is some sort of learning going on based on the limit switch(es).

oh forgot to tell you guys I blew away a blue M3 yesterday. The kid was riding my a*s on M5 north. I took off and he kept up for a sec. then I down shifted into 3rd and was up to a 120mph in a matter of seconds. It was probably a stupid thing to do concidering it was traffic time but we weaved in and out. My heart was pumping for about an hour after that. Just hearing the exhaust notes from both cars echoing off other cars was sweeeeeeeet!

misha,
I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with them. They are brand new ceramic coated headers. I opened the box to inspect them and that's it. I'll try to bring them to the next meet so everyone can take a look.

Did someone say something about meeting up at the JobbieNooner? I've never been there, but it sounds like fun.

I get the Z back tomarrow, Or at least that's what they are shooting for. If anyone can get me a deal on the Bronze Rays from Nismo let me know! I now have a scratched up wheel, but I'm not paying $550 for a heavy stock wheel.

Hey man,
I'm going to Jobbienooner tomorrow. I think a few guys from the forum are planning on coming too (Mzack, Jonathanabood, travic). Your welcome to come along too. My boat is at MacRay Harbor right down the road from Sufrage Airforce base outside of Mt. Clemens off of North River Road. Its docked at Slip 164 Spinddrift inside MacRay Harbor. Probably leave around 10 or so to get out there. Let me know if you want to come. 586-839-7906 Shawn

Mzack, I have a 32' boat. Anyone that's interested is welcome to go out with me if I can manage to get outta work.
I guessed you had a boat after seing the MacRay sticker on the Z. 32’ sure is not a canoe. My friend and I talk about going to the Gull Island party every year but we never seem to make it. He’s the one with the boat and has not even taken it out of storage yet. I can take Friday off as I gone all of next week…

[B]
I live up in Clarkston, but am down at Rochester Mills for happy hour with guys from work, usually on Fridays...
Hey Bill, saw you there again last Friday. I was walking in around 10-11 when you pass by in front of me. I was going to talk to you when you where going to return from the back of the bar but it turns out your left using the back door.

[B]
Some ***** in a Honda ran me off the road because he didn't want me to pass him before I had to merge.
Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me on 15 mile in Birmingham. It was an SUV and there was plenty of space to merge but he accelerated on purpose to cut me off. He knew that I was running out of road since he turned off in the next subdivision (he must be familiar with the area). There was not curb, just gravel so no damage. I’m not sure if he disliked Japanese cars or if it was jealousy over a nice sports car.

I regularly see 3 other 350z’s in my sub (Cumberland Hills). There is an occasional silverstone as well as a silver with Colorado plates – I remember seeing it last year. It’s back so it must be a student home from school. There is also DB sometimes parked 2 doors down from my house. When is the next meet ? I’m still busy working on painting the house (when it does not rain) and will be gone for work next week but I sure hope I can make it out to a meet after the 4th of july.

EEEeeeeh ****. Forget about it, the Z is not going to be finished. They found more problems, now I have to deal with the insurance agency too. I'll be lucky to get the thing back by next week.
