As of now, I'm planning on coming down to BW3's, what time again?

Status of my Z:

I haven't driven the Z in a week because I still haven't had my ClutchMaster Stage 4 Clutch and Flywheel installed yet (the clutch felt real weak last Friday when I jumped on it, slipped real bad). I've been waiting two weeks for new Turbonetics gasgets for my wastegates (which are both leaking badly). After much ******** with the vendor in CA, the gaskets are do to be at my house today. I just wish the shittiness of the greddy/tial gasgets would have been conveyed to me during install (it would have saved time and money). This is too much ******** for $20 in parts.

Mdacko, you'll like those 555's. I have the same tires/sizes.

By the way, last Friday night on Gratiot I saw a bad *** Sunset Z with 5 spoke chrome wheels and the Stillen body kit and spoiler. Looked sweet. Anyone else see this Z? The owner (i think Rob) was a pretty cool guy too and said he was from around Auburn Hills.

That sucks about your clutch. I am waiting for Kinetix to send me the Plenum. I am thinking about getting Some test pipes from them also. I talked with Dick Scott and they said it would be a good idea for me to get a new clutch and suggested the Nismo one. I am still not sold on that one.

About 12pm to 3pm. Maybe get some lunch there or ride to Royal Oak.

Mdacko. Not stalking you. I went into Discount Tire in Ypsi and priced out some rims and the 555s. I will most likely get 555s on the rears and wait until the tread wears on the feathering replacements for the fronts

I've always inteded to upgrade the clutch and flywheel and actually knew that it was going to be necessary. Was just trying to deceide what package to go with. Planned on going OS Giken which was supposed to be sooo great, but both guys I know in Taxas that used that clutch blew them out in about 3-4 weeks time.

The clutch and flywheel package that you decide on really can depend on what you plan to do to your car mod wise. For example, neither the JWT or Nismo clutch would last long in my Z due to the gobs of low end and mid range torque.

As far as your stock clutch goes, it's my opinion that it will work and hold just fine with exhaust, high flow cats/test pipes, Plenum, grounding kits, with virtually any "bolt-on" mod you decide to go with. Save your money until a clutch becomes necessary. Just my opinion. However, there are advantages of getting a better flywheel that is lighter and I think that would work well for you. JWT is a good choice. I'd personally stay away from Nismo products. You could add everything Nismo makes, including cams, headers, flywheel, exhaust, etc etc., and the car would still not pull more than 270 wrhp on a good day. There are other products out there that are way better than Nismo without the hyped up price. Again, just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe JWT will be the way to go. $450. Will wait a while I think. Need that Hot tub in my back yard first.

JonathanAboona,

Cool website. I can't get some of the vids to work though? First time I actually saw what my wheels/brakes look like while moving.
