For me, its not so much about it being hard to drive in the snow, although TT in the snow is scary at best, its more about how much damage all the salt does to my car all through the winter. I can honestly say that I have no intention of ever getting rid of my Z, as I want to be bringing in my old school Z to shows in 20 years still. So, making sure the underside doesnt rust is a priority for me. Plus, ruined coilovers is no fun. We deal with it in our shop all the time.
Yeah, I'm worried about the salt, too. Although my Z is pretty old, I definitely want everything to be in good condition since I'll probably have it for another 5 years or so.
Gonna be movin to great lakes area in about 2 weeks or so, bout an hour north of Chicago..wanted to get it touch a lil ahead of time to find out where local meets are or if any events are goin down soon
The Michigan guys are pretty close group. This summer, I'd like to get the Michigan Z's and Chicago Z's together for a weekend. Can you suggest a specific Z event this year?
