I am the guy from fishers. 141st and cumberland road. silver 08 350z. I can't remember how long ago it was but you were parked next to my z at cars and coffee. I had been searching for z websites and found the indyzcar. and club indiana z on facebook.

sorry for the threadjack, I needed a podium for Indy Nissan enthusiasts to hear me.
I am not a Z owner, but a Nissan owner..
I just moved to Fishers about a month ago. I followed my son (his mother got transferred - we are divorced). She was paid $80k to accept the transfer and then all expenses for her were paid. Me? I moved on my own dime. I moved to 86th & Township Line Road at first, a roommate situation..
Then I found my own place after securing a permenant job. Well I went back to Tulsa to get my stuff out of storage, and the motor in my Sentra SE-R threw a rod (20 year old SR20DE with 184k miles).. So now I'm trying to find local gear heads who can lend a hand with a motor swap. I am installing a SR20VE. If you are not aware, it's Nissan's answer to VTEC. the SR20VE had about 187 - 190 hp from the factory (at the crank), compared to 140 for the DE.
So if anyone wants to help a guy out. I have all tools needed, except for a cherry picker.. I could also benefit from an engine stand. I am replacing the rod bearings on the "new" motor, as well as a few other items, I already replaced the water pump, spark plugs, and a couple of other items...
i would love to become involved in the Nissan community here in Indy and I would also be glad to get my car running again.
thanks!
Matt
