Geez, Adam... how can you forget me on the Redline owners list? It's my frickin' name! There's also "zslinger" on Chicago350Z.com, but I don't know what name he uses on this board (and I won't give his real name, just in case he's hiding from the IRS). We ran into each other a few months ago while looking through the Nismo catalog at Nissan of St. Charles.

Bruce is right, you should come out to a track event sometime to hang out and catch a ride. The Indy Mustang Club allowed passengers all afternoon at last year's event at Putnam Park. I had fun just watching the other groups running, talking to the other drivers, and checking out other people's cars... driving was just the icing on the cake.

I think the Z Club is still hoping to run at Autobahn Country Club later this year (should be cheap/free for members), and there are other track events as late as September/October... maybe that would allow enough time to save some pennies? For the first time out, all you really need to do to your car is get fresh brake fluid and make sure you have more than half your brake pads left. Switching to Motul RBF 600 is a good idea, and that's only $30 or so. Bum a helmet from one of us and you're all set!

Oh... and red cars are faster.

hey guys, what's going on? I just picked up my car from the audio shop and I got to say I am impressed. If any of you guys need some audio video equipment, I found a great spot in addison. I will post pictures of my set-up as soon as possible. I got a 7" screen put in with in-dash dvd player. 12" sub, kenwood deck, amp, tv tuner, ps2. the price was great and the survice was out-standing. I would recommend this shop to all.

 

anyone catch that redline 350Z in the garage today? at like 12:00. clifton fullerton garage, i think it was a base, not sure. Looked clean. we need some nicer weather to get some meets going.

 

Hell yea man, i would love to go to meets sometime...one of my buddies just bought an m3 and we always go cruising. i have also seen a silver Z in the sheffield garage a couple times. anyone kno who owns that piece?
