I've spent the last couple of months on the back roads of Ohio to find the perfect place to have a Z event & I have finally succeeded!

Mark your calenders for July 24th as an "official" Z-Run date! (Rain Date of July 31).
Meet & Greet from 12:30-1:00 at the Ohio Canal Parking area in Clinton, OH (PM me for directions)
The fun "starts" at 1:00 as we head out for some of the best roads the state has to offer. (2 lane back country roads, 2 lane highways) Lots of twisties & long straights for all to enjoy!
Lots of beautiful scenery as we will pass through Amish Country along the way.
After the run we will meet on the west side of Akron of dinner & such. Please let me know if you are interested, so I know where to make reservations!

 

Where is Clinton? I'm in the Cleveland area (west side).

I am going to try like a Z to make it! Will let you know as the weekend gets closer if I will be there or not! But so far I am in for the drive!

 

That is why I scheduled it on the 24th! Wouldn't want to miss cheering on my favorite Z - Team!!!!

 

Is my G35 welcome to attend this meet? I would love to meet up for a long cruise.

 

This is a come 1 come all event. G35's & Z's (any model) are prefered, but I'm not going to leave out anyone that's interested in joining.

So far I've been contacted by folks from PA, MI & now IN.
I've got a listing of hotels in the area that will be near the place where we will be meeting for dinner & what not.

I myself work out of town every week. Sometimes the work carries over to the weekend depending on the project and how far away I am from home. It sucks not being able to schedule things in advance.

Took Peptidbond through the run course today - He loved it!
Here's the prospective itinerary:

1:00 Run Starts
Will be leaving the Ohio Canal Parking area and heading down
Cleveland-Massillon Road towards the center of Clinton, which turns into 103
103 South to 241 South (Lower section of 103 & most of 241 are in Amish Country - buggy watch & buggy bombs galore!!)
241 winds through some small bergs & is very hilly & curvy
241 to 39 (Millersburg)
39 to 83 South
There is a McDonlads with a fairly large parking lot where we will be stopping for a pit stop.
83 South to Coshocton(sp?)
There is a park, on the sothern most part of 83 where we will stop & do some visiting before heading back home.
(Peptid ran into some folks that were requesting rides, so if you're interested in giving some folks a ride. . .)
Return North on 83 to 39
39 to 241 North
241 North to 103 (103 is not well marked, we will try & fix this problem for the run)
103 North to Cleveland-Massillon Road
Cleveland-Massillon Road north into the west side of Akron.
There are a lot of places to eat & be "merry".
We'll decide where we want to eat - BEFORE we leave on the run.

Peptid & I ran from start to finish, including Peptid giving a guy a ride on 83, in just under 4 hours.

Please confirm with me by Friday, so I know who to be looking for on Saturday morning. This run is going to be a LOT of fun, so if you know of anyone else that may be interested - hook'em up!!
I'll be able to give directions & hotel info - if needed by PM.

Unforunately due to a Saturday afternoon wedding of a friend I won't be able to attend this run.

Hopefully next time though.
