exactly what the title says , just looking for another person on SI that has some knowledge on Zs or G35s

 

I grew up on SI, but am currently living in Jersey City. My parents still live on the island though, so I am back and forth a good deal visiting (its a VERY short trip ).

first off, the sub in bacl of my z doesnt real pump anything out, ....whats up with that, i blasted the music and felt nothing coming out of the damn speaker

 

Hmm.. I don't know about nothing from the stock sub, but I know it IS pretty weak.

I have had my BOSE system swapped out for the most part. Its been a VAST improvement.

 

yea man, im just getting the hang of driving my Z man, still babying her though, cant wait till all this snow is gone man so we can check out some meets

 

I hear that. The snowy months seem sooooo long man.

I haven't been to any meets yet, but probably should see what a few are like at some point.

i dunno if you guys know about the NY G-Squad, but we are a BIG organization that has local meets about once per month

we're having a big one this sunday if you're interested... for info, goto G35Driver.com and look in the G-Squad forum.

we have a few 350z's that come to the meets too, but are looking for more members to join our "Z-Squad" division

this weekend we also have a caravan forming in the parking lot at midland beach for all of us to drive to the meet in what we call a "G-Line".... it will be 4 cars from Bayonne/Jersey city (BriA5 maybe you'd like to meet up with them and come on out), 5 from PA, and myself... and we're all gonna cruise out there on the belt pkwy together. (people's mouths usually drop when a line of 10 G35's cruise past them at 70mph in the left lane... it's priceless)

if you have questions, i have a bunch of mods done to my car and love talking about stuff... TopSpeed Pro1 headers, Crawford high flow cats, a Fujitsubo y-pipe, JWT Popcharger and Z-tube, AV Electronic tuner module and miniPS2, rearview camera, and coming soon a nice little JL audio setup in the trunk.

nope, i wasn't at CSI today, although i've seen a car that's almost a clone of mine running around SI.... mine is easily distinguished by the lack of a front license plate and 15% tints... i also have a "G35Driver.com" license plate frame

Whats up not a z owner yet. hopefully soon to be just bought a new gto raced a red Z on hylan blvd a few months ago and that was prob the best race ive had in a while

 

is the Z owner on the boards man would love to know who it was

 

He was an older guy, red 350z with chrome rims, sounded mint too. I had my girl in the car he was alone We raced twice from a roll i have an automatic his was stick, the first roll i took him hard the second we were both slowing for the red light but just before we stopped (about 5mph roll) the light turned green i punched it and so did he he was taking me by half a cars lenght i was slowly creeping up to be even with his bumper when we both shut down. i asked him what he had done to it cause it sounded great he said "A few things" we both commented each other on our cars and he was a little suprised that mine was and automatic. Really cool guy. definitly want to see him again from a dig even from a roll again just without my girl in the car.

 

damn , all of this on the island and i missed it, ...... i did race a fx whatever or the infiniti version of the murano, not becasue i wanted to but becasue the guy really wanted to race me , he must not know about cars, it was hilarious to say the least, .......and then there was that mustang 99 gt that i smoked...but thats about it

 

RBlover, BriA, and TRUDUAL, perhaps when the weather gets warmer a little mini-meet would be in order. i usually attend the weekly Wednesday night car show at Chevy's on Hylan Blvd, maybe once the spring comes we can all hit it up
