it seems i hear that most of the Z's in jersey needs some practice on thier 1/4 mile times after the atrocity that happened at raceway park on Z/G day. I was wondering if anyone wanted to go and practice. I will be going with another Z. I will hopefully be shooting for a 13.5/13.6. anyways post away and lets see if we can get a small group of Z's go on out and we can have a little fun.

 

hmmmmm... damned tempting .... they start at 5 pm, though, and i don't think i could get there till 6:30'ish. Plus, with work the next day ... ugh.

have you ever been there on a Wednesday before? Is it typically crowded?

 

ive only been there once... so from when ive been there it was fairly packed. but then again ive only been there 2 times... it shouldnt be that bad. BUT its 10 dollars cheaper... ont he weekends its 30 bucks I believe and on wednesday i think its 20 bucks. Dont hold me to this though. even if you come out late I hope to see you there.

 

According to their website, its $26 to race, $14 to watch.

I gotta start looking for a helmet. This might become an addiction for me after I start.

 

haha its pretty fun... kinda gets addicting when you wanna get that lower time... I hear the best place to get a helmet is at garage sales.... I dont know if you want to get a brand new one but most poeple say you can pick up a used crappy one that you can use at the track for like 10 bucls at a garage sale. I think ill stick to just renting one for 3 bucks a pop.

 

I just have a mental block against wearing something on my head that has a questionable past. I'm a bit neurotic that way, I suppose.

 

come on guys I know there are alot more Z's in jersey, lets see if we can get a few cars going. I think I have 3 z's going. IfQbrozen gets going we got 4. I have even posted on the s2ki site cause I would love a few s2k'z out there also. Lets get this thing rolling.

 

If you guys want to try out Atco on Tuesday night, let me know. I want to go, but this is a terrible time of the year to run, don't expect anything like your normal times. Atco is one sticky *** track with good air and I've turned out some great times there.

Sorry, man, but I'm definitely out of this one. Some other issues have come up that will prevent me from participating in ANY non-essential activities for a couple of months.

illl have to end up running on atco one of these days. ARE THERE ANY FI 350z's? if the weather is clear tommorrow there will be a turbo charged s2k coming out just incase u wanna go and see how the competition in turbo charge for runs.

Anyway, I bought a helmet on Ebay and it should be here later this week.
