Anyone Go To HIN? Atlantic City
It was WEAK SAUCE!!
There were 3 or 4 Zs there and 2 G35's.Apparently about 150 cars that were registered did not show up..The crowd was ok,the women were hot, but the show just did not have a HIN feel to it.. There was tons of empty room and missing cars, no really huge displays..And like always, Team Emotion won all the trophies.I think people are just fed up with HIN shows. I can tell you they lost money at that show with the cost of the convention center and the union in NJ. I highly doubt they will be back to AC next year.

I miss the original hot import nights, back in secaucus, back when there were only a few shows a year and you had to wait hours just to get tickets...and they were cheaper
$25 is a rip
Check urbanracer for pics in a few days

I went to the show, and while it had some great cars, I agree it doesnt have the HIN feel from back in 2000/2001. The show is somewhat watered down nowadays. Before it used to be us guys that poured passion and heart into their cars and it showed, now its almost as if just having money and throwing together a car with an unlimited budget is what it takes to get recognition. Dont get me wrong, I think Im headed on the right path to financial success and will always be a car fanatic, its just that the amount of those high end cars with about 80-100K spent on top of that supercedes the cars meant for us tuner guys and what we once represented. Oh well, things evolve I guess. In any case, my car will be ready for HIN - Night Shift at Shea Stadium in July. TSZ33 crew better represent out there, I dont want to be one of 5 Zs again.
Oh by the way, we had some awesome runs with other guys down there, I just put on my Espelir True Dual JGT500 exhaust with T-Pros Resonated Test Pipes, ill do a review later today. My brother drove his new S2K AP2 and my friend drove his new 6 speed TL. My brother has a video of him hitting 162 mph, Im going to try and post that later, but damn I was amazed at the new 2.2 in S2K. Just a message to anyone who underestimates that car. . .dont do it. My brother went up against and SRT4 and they had some nice runs, then I challenged that SRT4 and he shook his head no lol, it was pretty funny, I really whooped some kid in a WRX that wouldnt leave me alone, every time I tried to change lanes, he'd cut me off, then follow up with releasing his throttle to let off his BOV, I couldnt take it at one point and then just ate him. He never came back after that.
HIN sucked! I think SEMA was alot better! I think i saw 4 zs and 1 G... Sigh!
I dont think it was worth going to it for $25! Thats good i went to the casinos wit my friends after it which made my night. -=)

Yea I am not sure I will be going to many more HIN's. The Boston show was Awesome and packed pretty good. But I think the Dulles, Charlotte and AC shows were a bit disappointing. I have issues with the judging anyway... But whatever.
Show your cars off when you can and enjoy em guys...
