Hey guys, read a fair amount of this thread. Hate to hijack, but I think this is the best place rfor me to ak. I am getting an '04 roadster on Tuesday and need tires, the guy said. So, I am in the market for new tires and rims. I love the '06's rims, at least the ones on the touring or above Roadster. If there is anyone considering selling, please let me know. I am pretty far south, but you can bet I will be willing to drive the new ride. Though I can't pick them up in it!?

Mapquest screwed me over the last time... Luckily, motormouth saw me driving the wrong way, called me and led me in -- otherwise I would have met the same fate.

 

I like the price, not too sure I like the wheel? I was thinking some type of 5 spoke, but for the price I will consider your wheels and tires. BTW, is spotswood close to Central Jersey. I grew up in Millstone Twp.?

I was in a chrome silver z. I did see a blk coupe riding, but we were going in the opposite direction. I didn't know if he looking for the garage too, or just cruizen.

Which actually reminds me of something I was thinking about... with the NFL season coming up, is anyone against meeting on saturdays rather than sundays? Or if we're going to do this 2 weekends a month maybe one sat and one sun?

 

I'd only be showing up on Saturdays in which Florida State has a bye. Not a bad idea, though we're already starting to get a confusing enough schedule as is, IMO.

Mega, that sucks to hear what you went though. Worst part is, you were on the right road. Hope to see you next time. I think maybe we should probably put out some kind of sign when we hold the events, since we're tucked away off of the road.

Also guys, we're still having trouble choosing a fitting name for the club, so any ideas are welcome.

 

car is looking good. took off the rear mud guaRDS this morning, and with the rear lettering from the dealership removed (thanks!) rear looks sexy. just need to remove the wiper and it'll be slick. what a waste that rear wiper is anyway. ugly and just something else to break and have to pay to fix.

 

That's Labor Day weekend, so we were talking about flipping Sunday and Friday that month. Do something fun on Friday the 1st, then a shop meet on Sunday the 17th. I was wondering if Atco would be a good idea for that Friday since its right before the holiday, but it looks like they're holding the S & W/Mitchell/Manley Summer Shootout starting that Friday at noon. So racing is probably out for that night.

If people want to switch to Saturday's through football season, that's cool, but we need a majority agreement. I like Sunday since we're starting at 10a and unless there's an early game we want to see, being done in time for the 4pm game is pretty easy. Besides, we could always go somewhere to watch the game locally.

 

I like doing Sundays too, but I don't mind flipping a few if people want to do football. I have no preference, since I'm not a football fan.

 

i could give less a crap about foosebal, but I have a 55inch hd with digial cable if it comes down to it...

I'd like to stay on sundays as that is the day I normally set aside for cars anyway.
