Thanks for the info. I checked it out, but the schedule didn't indicate anything other than birthdays.

Is this associated with UB then?
I'd like to get involved but the forum won't let me register.
Do you know when the next cruise/event is?

I guess open registration is closed then right now (there are a few kids from the area on a "team" who like to troll once in a while)
It should open back up soon. In the mean time, swing by Bubble Tea Cafe on Sheridan drive in the Piccadilly Plaza (Between Niagra Falls Bvd and Millerspot Hwy on friday or saturday nights anytime after 9:00 and there are usualy people there (you'll see cars in the parking lot)
This Sunday (4/13) is a big day! It's opening day at NYIRP, the local 1/4 mile track (well, 45 min away local near Genesseo) If you want to go with us, be at Bubble Tea @ 9:30am on Sunday morning. We cruise out there with a whole bunch of cars. I won't have my Z out since I'm still waiting on parts to come in the mail, but I will be driving the UBRF Race Car which was donated to us (It's a Pontiac Sunbird 3.1 that we are stripping down and juicing.)
If you show up on Sunday, I'll introduce you to a bunch of people. we have a Silver 350z on the board... he's the only one I know of so far.
And just a warning; if you see a bunch of lowered, stock-looking Civics @ Bubble Tea, DONT RACE THEM!! 3 of them run 1/4 times anywhere from 10-12 seconds... NO JOKE!! They will be running on Sunday too.
Hope to see you out!

Thanks for the info!
Can you race in a stock car, or do you need a rollbar/helmet etc. $10 to see what my 1/4 time is would be cool.
Although my car only has 300 miles on it and the break-in period is 1200, so I dont want to push the engine.
So Sundays probably a no for that reason, but if you go in a onth or so, I'm up for it.
Do you guys go often?
Do you ever go autocrossing. I guess they have it at ECC so I"m going to go this season.

I hear ya on the break in period, and yeah, we go often. People post on the board when they are going, and we usualy get a whole caravan of cars headding out there.
We also do a lot of Auto-X all over WNY, again, those meets are posted on the site (don't know them off hand)
We are also doing the Shannonville Toronto Road Course this year. With all the people going, it will only be around $120 a person for the whole day
That should be real fun since there are a lot of cars on our board which have been build specificly for road / auto-x courses.
Keep me appraised of whats going on. If you need more people to go to shannonville, I'm in. I'm definately going to try and get on a few road courses this year, as well as most of the WNY autoX events.
