Makes me want to sell it. It was odd though my dyno sheet says max 243.4...but I swear I saw 245hp while they were dynoing my car. ..like it matters
I think you are missing the test pipes. Danny's Z (show yourself) dynoed over 265hp with similar mods.

It was nice meeting you you guys armitage, tonester, Romey. I was the guy w/ the G rims on the CS Z. You guys have some sweet rides. Rome's gauges are sick, and tonester's avatar doesn't do his car justice.
Are those the uncorrected numbers? Did they ever give you the corrected Dynojet numbers?

I'm not sure. I'm thinking FI may be the way to go for me. Even if I get the TP and headers, I'll prob. be running really lean and I'll need a Utech and tune. That's a lot of $$$$ for like 20hp. I'll prob. go supercharger in the future.

Another thing was that they couldn't do A/F on my car. Julian said it was due to the Nismo exhaust. That sucks cuz I thought that a shop that specializes in these cars should be able to do A/F on a factory upgraded and popular part.

The Numbers we gave out yesterday were in fact Dyno Jet corrected numbers. To see what our numbers on our dyno Dynamics would read, simply open up the calculator program on your PC and take your number, and subtract 13%.
as far as the A/F on your car, you had a stock like/Nismo exhaust, which would not fit our probe properly. We dyno'd over 30+ cars yesterday and stayed until 10pm to finish up every last person. For me to get an accurate A/F on your car, as I explained to you yesterday, we would have needed to jack up your car and insert the O2 in your cat. This was not happeneing yesterday.
As far as us being a shop that specializes in the 350Z, had you consulted with us prior , we would have told you NOT to purchase a NISMO (IE STOCK) exhaust in the first place..
Thanks for the kind words

I'm kind of regreting getting the Nismo exhaust also. Wish I would of stayed with my Borla. I made 273 so thats not too bad. The utec definately put me over the edge compared to everyone else. Thanks again Julian.

Thanks for the insight. Everybody there knows that you guys worked your asses off to get everybody dynoed, plus setting up for FWD cars. I was just a little disappointed after driving almost 2 hrs. after thinking that I would be getting an a/f reading. That was more important to me than the hp #'s because I was considering more breathing mods. I guess a dyno day is more about participation and quantity, in order to achieve that, over quality. I didn't realize that since I've never been to one. I should have set up an appointment for a diff. day to come down and spend more time with it. That's my fault. BTW thanks a lot for getting my buddy's GTI on there and the stragglers that he brought.

Also, 243.4HP..my anemic #...-13% is 211. How can that be. That means w/ JWT intake, 5/16th Motordyne isothermal spacer, lightened crank pulley, and Nismo exhaust. That means w/ 211HP X's 20% drivetrain loss that puts me at 253 @ the crank w/ mods. Stock 287 crank w/ 20% drivetrain loss would put me @ 229.6HP. It seems that the 243 that you stated is right on(dynojet corrected). That would put me at 305crank which is 18 more than stock. That sounds right. But I've heard that dynojet #'s are inflated..it doesn't seem so to me. Please enlighten me, I don't know much about dyno's...obviously. Do you guys know how Nissan rates their engines??

So basically...uncorrected hp = DJ HP/1.13....in that case I made 225.8 uncorrected
