Now it's warm, time to rip the car on the track. I am curious to see if the 07 is faster or slower than the 03s

The car looks great. I'm in a market myself for a Z right now. Looking for an 03 with decent miles. I am hoping to join the NE club soon. Can't wait. I'm coming from Subaru world where the community is pretty tight. Hopefully the Z club is just as good or better

03 is a bit slower than the 07s. They have '07s running 13.3 Qtr Mile, stock.

Incorrect sir. The 2007 Base is definitely faster, see above statement. The '07s got 1000 more RPM than the 03s, and 500 more RPM than the 2006. The 2007 engine has slightly less TQ than the non-revup and the revup, but it makes up for with the 1000 more RPM and 20 HP. I don't know if you have rung out your Z, but I can tell you right now, I have hit that rev limiter PLENTY of times in 2nd and 3rd because the car just feels like its not losing power at all. I am hoping to get a re-flash this summer and running the Limiter up to 7100 (for those "critical" times ).

Hoping to be back in time for the NE Mount Run!!
You bettah. We got 30 people on the list now, with over a month to go. This is going to be a HUGE event, so I hope you can make it -- plenty of notice.

Ziggyrama, I will sell you my 2003 with 50k miles for $27,000 lol. I need to cover my loan, and have a decent down payment for a 2007, haha. It comes with Fujitsubo Catback and TopSpeed Y-Pipe and Headers. Put down 250whp last I dyno'd it (in 95% humidity and 90 degrees out). Just kidding of course -- I paid $22,500 for her back in May 2006 with 33k miles. AutoTrader is your friend. Honestly do not put a brand new 2006 out of your budget, the dealership down here is selling their 03s for $27,500 -- that is a Touring!!!!! Well below invoice. At the very least I would definitely check out 2004 and 2005, you can probably get one for just about the same price as and '03 with the extra HP.
