Is there a shop in the NJ/Eastern PA/DE area that does corner balancing? How much does a session run?

buy the scales and do it yourself?

 

you will also need a platform or VERY level floor for your new scales. All tires must be in the same plain. otherwise, your scales will just show the twist in the floor and not true corner weight. We setup race cars all the time, and ca do this, but we are in Charlotte NC.

cornerbalanceing is usually about 130-150 bucks.

 

We are getting a set of scales for this weekend to play with. We are actually working on a Rustang suspension. I have talked to some guys some of them say just keep left side balanced front and rear and then balance right side front and rear.

So whats the trick to all this? 60/40 front/rear, left/right?? keep in mind this will be road raced just have no idea how to go about getting it set up. I understand compensation for driver, gas, lateral G, however just looking for a starting point. Any help???

 

Actually I think it’s Diagonal that should be balanced…not sides…

no not at all, but in order to realize the FULL potential of your coilover suspension...you would need it to be corner balanced...

 

Hmmm, I'm getting some coilovers this week and this caught my attention. Hmmmmm...

 

oh ...ok....well I say ride without the CB, and see, and then do the CB....it's quite a difference IMO...very well worth the $125

mmmm...none that I would trust with my car with....I'm going on Friday....to this place in Fairfield (known about them for years....you should see their shop though... always have exotics, and Race cars, and it's like a big looking glass...off the hook...they are really good.
