Default WTB: carbon fiber hood

Hey everyone, i am looking for a CF hood either OEM style or Seibon TS style. I am looking for one in perfect shape (no problems with weave, clearcoat, etc.). I figured I'd ask here first before buying one new in case someone had one. PM me if you have one available. I may consider other styles...but I prefer the TS above all else.

you might want to see how they fit in person first (especially the TS, which always tends to sit a bit crooked on the passenger side)

i ate rots of rice this morning! Id grab that hood off you in a NY minute if all it needed was a re-clearing...but i don't think that will fix it all. Can you rainproof those hoods? Dude, I am getting so many memo's about the new GTR...this thing is SICK....but there is one huuuge drawback to it.... a really stupid drawback too. The JDM ones have a huge drawback too (at least to me)...but hopefully it won't find it's way into the USDM models. If this technology comes over here and starts to ge used mainstream.... we ALL will be somewhat boned

If you want to trade me that thur TS hood, you can know all you want to know.

You will know soon enough...i believe the JDM version is supposed to come out this month or next month, I don't have access to Japanese plant scheduling. I DO laugh that dealers are taking orders for them though...I am betting it will be like Mercedes and the SLR...if you don't have a specially trained mechanic to work on it, I doubt the dealer will be allowed to sell it. The technology is so cutting edge for some of the systems, it will NOT be easy to work on...

you can probably still do that

Oh and Inside Line talks about it, so I can talk about one of the points. The ECU is supposed to be 'almost impossible' to tune. I don't see anything out there about the JDM SAT-NAV system, so I won't go into that yet.

I want the hood so I don't have to paint it and I can just reclear it when it gets effed up. There are tons of chips in the front bumper and hood now....I don't really show my car nd you can't see them until close...maybe I am too **** about this. I guess someone got the aerosynch bumper...i really wanted it...
