MA/NH/ME/RI/? caravan to CT July 12th Meet
Hi. I have been asked by Victor (vics350) to put a thread together for everyone that is interested in joining a caravan from MA/NH/ME/RI to the Connecticut meet on July 12th. First, following are some links:
1) Thread:CT Meet on July 12th
2) Flyer: CT Meet on July 12th (click "box" in lower right corner to expand)
3) Information: Hubbard Park
4) Map:Hubbard Park (Yahoo)
5) Information: Lime Rock Park
6) Map: Lime Rock (Yahoo)
7) PM Send me (Anyone2u) a PM (Private Message)
8) Email:Send me (Anyone2u) an email
9) Weather Forecast: Lime Rock/Lakeville, CT (Weather.com)
Below is a map from the intersection Route 128 & Mass Pike (90) to Meriden, CT with the proposed route (by Yahoo) highlighted. I would appreciate any suggestions of a meeting place near the 128/Mass Pike intersection. I believe there is a rest area/gas on the Mass Pike near Natick or Framingham that might work for a meeting place. Estimated travel time is ~2 hours which means we would have to meet at approx. ~7 AM. I am open to any other proposed route, as well as meeting up with other cars along the way. Please post any ideas or comments below.
Victor and the other CT Z members are really working hard to put together a really great meet and are starting to stockpile some really cool (and expensive!) giveaways. You really don't want to miss this meet!!!

I just checked with a friend that drives the Mass Pike west everyday and she said she believes the "rest stop" on the Mass Pike is about 8-9 miles west of 128, between the Natick and Framingham exits. This would avoid the "mess at the tolls" that we ran into up in NH. Plus they have a pretty big parking lot and a Dunkin Donuts for those of you with a caffeine "jones"

On the Pike there are 2 rest stops in that area, Framingham which is Westbound and Natick which is Eastbound. Both rest stops are roughly 1 mile from each other. So is it safe to assume we will meet at the the Framingham Westbound stop since were going down 84?

Anyone going to Rev-It-Up
We could plan an overnight trip (when does racing end?) and then drive-up en-masse to the Mazda Rev-It-Up competition on Sunday. Imagine that we crash a Mazda event with 10-20 Nissan 350Z's.

Eugene, I would love to go to Moheggan Sun, but not sure we would have enough time. Is it really on the way back? I thought it was more south. In a worst case scenario, you can buy one of those Conn. $30 scratch tickets!

I think the rest stop idea is a good one. And I think 7am is fine. Count me in!
I'm sure this is a really stupid question, but is anyone bringing a really nice camera to the meet to take pics of all of our Z's lined up? My camera is okay, but I'd be willing to pay for duplicate photos from someone that has a really good camera.

My only concern with the CDs is that it may take a fair amount of time copying 30-40 CD's. Obviously, I don't want to spend all my time sitting in front of my computer while everybody else is looking at cars.
