Superbowl Sunday GTG
Hey all,
A lot of you may remember me, along with my friend Adam Bloom from Z1 Auto who helped me gather cars for last years GTG at Sunken Meadow Park. I thank you, all 68 of you that decided to show up in one of the most impressive caravans in the events 8 year history. I apologize for the late posting within this forum...very late to be exact. I was attempting to make this years event the biggest yet, however, since I am the sole organizer, the details became to overwhelming and I unfortunately ran out of time to make this the grand fundraiser for the JDRF that I have done in the past. Therefore I am resorting to a good ol' GTG. I am going to cut and paste the original thread from VWVortex below, and hope that the 350Z crowd is willing to hang with fellow auto enthusiasts the same way others have chosen to do so for this Sunday. I can't thank you guys enough for your support last year, and look forward to your continued support going forward. Once again, I apologize for the late notice, but hopefully the Z crowd will still provide a presence for this event.

"Many apologizes for the late planning this year. There were many aspects of the event this year that I was trying to pull together.
The event is as follows.....
Feb 3rd @ 10am at the Dave & Busters in Farmingdale. If many of you remember, the event was held at this location a few years ago and had an average turnout. The weather was crazy cold and a lot of people did not hang out in the parking lot for too long. We're hoping the weather cooperates this year. If so, it will be a pleasure to admire the many cars that always show up, while having easy access to good food, games & restrooms!
The fundraiser info. Unfortunately a lot of things that I was trying to pull together to have a great fundraiser this year did not come together in time. Nobody to blame.....just did not & could not happen. I felt that either it all happens in a nice, large, grand fashion which is the way it deserves, or not pursue the fundraising aspect at all. After reviewing the situation with Michael Otten, the local NY rep for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, we both felt that the large fundraising aspect of the event should be bypassed this year. However, anyone who feels the need to make a private donation on site is welcome to do so, as Michael will be present to hang out with us (as always) through the entire GTG. Typically private donations account for 50% or more of total donations at past Superbowl fundraisers. We;re confident that the people who have given in the past will be willing to continue to give this year and intot he future. You know who you are, and we thank you for your support.
As many of you witnessed last year at the event we had quite a mix of cars on hand. Watching 68 Nissan 350Z's roll in together was quite a sight. There were also a ton of VW's, a bunch of R32's, a really nice bunch of modded STi's & EVO's, and a great mix of other sports cars. Please feel free to spread the word to as many people as you wish. We are counting on the diverse community to pull together when this event returns next year in its grand fundraising fashion.
For those of you coming from out of the area, here is the address you can run through Google maps or punch into your Tom Tom.....
Dave & Buster's Address:
261 Airport Plaza Blvd, Farmingdale, NY 11735
Phone: (631) 249-0708
With or without the fundraising aspect of this event, numerous people have been contacting me as to the status of the event for this year. Obviously people are interested in hanging out no matter what. I look forward to seeing a lot of friends and sweet rides. Feel free to IM me offline with any questions. Thanks, and see you on Feb 3rd!"

I saw a bunch of VWWortex guys at a local Applebees (Bay Terrace) a few days ago. It was someone's birthday or something. They all parked right behind my Z in the lot.
Haha, way off topic, just felt like mentioning.
