I'm Moving To Boston, should i sell my Z?
ok so well i'm moving to boston around may. I got into school there. and i will be living in the cambridge area. I will most likely be near Harvard Square. Currently, i live in chicago, the suburbs. Based on looking at apartments, most of them say off street parking.
I dont want to park off street, and i have heard that there are cars that get stuff stolen like spoilers, or double dins. i'm thinking of selling my Z b/c i dont want people backing into me during parallel parking either.
The snow is ok, its snows here too so im not worried about that, i can also take public transportation if it gets too bad out there.
Whats the weather like? Is the driving situationnear Harvard like NYC area ?
How are the roads? The Z is my daily driver.
HELP ME DECIDE WHAT TO DO. My car has lip kit, 19/s drop, Double Din and some basic stuff!!!!

Probably a bad idea to take it to school with you...nothing good can come out of that except for headaches u probably dont want to deal with. Hell, i get anxiety just by leaving my car parked on the street for 5 hours each day and my drive to school is a whole 10 min although the only thing i ever think about in class is plz let my car be ok plz let my car be ok plz let my car be ok plz let my car be ok ....lol

Harvard square location is congested. Parking is a nightmare. Despite this don't sell.

I may be wrong but, last time I checked "off street" parking means that you have you own parking area IE: Driveway etc...
You got to take the Z to Boston...there's a lot of fun places to run. I think you'd hate yourself if you don't!

I was born in Chicago and I have a lot of family there.. I still go there to visit every 2-3 years.. I live in Mass now.. The climate in Boston is a lot like the climate in Chicago.. Cold snowy winters and hot summers..
Boston, unlike Chicago, is a very small city that closes everything at 2am .. and I don't think it's as safe as Chicago at night.. The people you meet in Chicago are more friendly, forget about making eye contact here walking down the street. People are known as Massh0les around here..
I've driven in about 25 of our 50 states including NYC.. Boston has the worst drivers. Very aggressive and non courteous.. lots of road rage here. Our cabs look like Chicago police cars
Try to get a place that has a driveway or off street parking.. Parking in Cambridge or anywhere in the city is tight..It's a horrible feeling coming home at 2am when you are tired and having to drive around for 2 hours just trying to find a spot.. now imagine doing that during a snowstorm.. ugggg.. Cambridge has some nice places and some not so very nice neighborhoods, choose where you live carefully.

I wouldn't want to park on the street anywhere within 128 in Mass with a car I really cared about. Plus if you are in that area you don't need to have a car; public transportation is pretty decent.
