Shop/Dealer Reviews and RECOMENDATIONS for Northeast
As I stated in the OP, I have no complaints about the finished product. Car runs great and I'm very happy to have everything finally fixed.
I'm not sure I understand you. I bring it in to fix my electrical and boost problem, you do one, but don't find it necessary to fix the other? When fixing a boosting issue, why wouldn't you test drive the car?
I was aware of the missing clips on top of the bumper, as I was the one who took them off a few days prior. You asked me - wait, let me rephrase that - you told me that you were going to fix it, at which point I told you not to, as there was nothing to fix. You went ahead and did it anyway and charged me for it.
I told you twice that it needed to be lowered and even wrote it on the work order you had me fill out. Please don't lie.
Your own tech told me he spent two hours on the job. Where did this 3rd hour come from? 3 hours to re-tighten a loose coupler sounds kinda much.
It's not good when your customer has to go out of his way as well to make sure what he's paying for gets done.
Both times that I dropped the car off I went up to you to go over what needed to get done. You knew very well what I was bringing the car in for. You were always too busy to talk and would assure me that everything is under control - which it wasn't.
Edit: Again, it's nothing personal against you. It's your business practices that need to improve.

As far as the $200.00 Charge for the boost leak test and repair.. I spent over 3 hours and charged you for 2 hours, I even looked completely over the vehicle at n/c to make sure you would not have any other issues with your car.

I have the time card 3.2 hours, my tech and I agreed to ONLY charge you 2 hours. But anyway it's okay you will not find that kind of quality work anywhere on the East Coast. We spent the extra time looking over your car and not charging you.
One thing you need to realize, you do not know much about cars. An internet mechanic as yourself and a professional like ourselves are 2 diff things.
You claimed that I bad mouthed Shops that I don't even know.

Example the day you picked up your car you drove down so I can have a look at it. We both agreed after spending all the $$$'s that you did your car should have been detailed upon delivery. Yes I did comment on the quality of work.. I could not believe my eyes on how the car was wrenched on not to mention the electrical disaster and fitment of the boost controller.. you also agreed, I guess the truth hurt.
This is what I will do for you, the next time your car has an issue.. I will personally let you know use my shop, tools and rack to fix your own car. I will sit back and become an internet mechanic and ask you why are you taking so long? Whats the problem I was told on the internet that in only takes 20 minutes...

There was really no need for this Drama you brought to the forums. BTW if you ever needed any work, I would still go out of my way to help as this is the person that I am.

I am glad to hear that your car is running well, at the end of the day we do deliver no matter what it takes.

Yes correct I should have scheduled you in rather than go out of my way the way I did to attend to your needs, this way there would not have been any mis-understanding.
Have a great day.

It's very naïve to say I won't find the same quality of work on the East Coast, but I'm glad you did because it shows what kind of business owner you are and also backs up what I said. When you asked where I had the work performed, I told you Performance Factory in Florida. This was your face:
. You then proceeded to tell me how sh!tty of a job they did and that all the issues I had were because of their wiring. What you didn't know is that I spoke to your tech a few minutes earlier and he said a few wires fried during the last attempted jump start. Don't be so quick to point fingers just as an attempt to keep customers coming back to only your shop. It probably works for most of your customers, but not for me.
"But anyway it's okay you will not find that kind of quality work anywhere on the East Coast."
I wonder what Forged Performance, AAM, VTR, Julian, and Jeremy Tibbs have to say about this comment.

I'm not claiming I know more about cars than you do. If I did, I would have attempted to fix the issues myself.

I was warned by many outsiders about you but I had to learn for myself. But it's all good my friend.
You stated that I over charged you unethical business? It says a lot about you and the way you think. (A Thief always worries about getting robbed) Remember that next time you decide to accuse a hard honest Shop owner like myself, take a very good look in the mirror and remember my comment to you.
You yourself where completely disgusted with the work that was done on your car from Performance Factory...

I am done here
Who cares what anyone has to say including yourself. I have great customer service.. If I can't please you I am sure not too many people can.. unless they are doing work at no charge to you which I am sure you will still find something to complain about.

I've referred many friends to Jeremy to get their builds/tuning done. What exactly do you claim I was disgusted with?
Did you seriously just try calling me a thief? What did I steal from you, George?
I'd also like to add that I'm a very straight up person. I give credit when it's due, but I'm also not afraid to speak up if I don't agree with something.
So far you've put words in my mouth, called me a thief, and made false claims on what was going on the car. All I'm doing is pointing out the facts here. I'm not sugarcoating or over exaggerating anything that happened.

George as compelling as your argument maybe, you can't deny there are quite a few bad stories surrounding your shop and i've been apart of the Supra Community since 1998 so i am not just talking out my as$.. I know a guy who works with me in Greenwich and he praises your shop over and over and all the great work you do, and i sometimes i just can't imagine this is the same shop that alot of people talk about.

If a customer is not happy I want a phone call letting me know the reason, that's all I ask no more no less. The tuner that used to tune the Supra's back in the day is no longer affiliated with my company.

Ics, whats your location and website. And honestly i would come down to talk to you but it wont make much sense considering me living in cheshire and you're somewhat close to, bridgeport correct?
True - I hope we are mature enough to leave it where it stood last. I will be keeping an eye here. If the discussion heads in the same direction, I will remove all references. Ball is in the court of the NE now. I spoke with the OP and he has agreed that this is the correct place for the thread and so have I.

Agreed. I said what I had to say, as well as George. Hopefully the NE takes note of all the words exchanged and makes an educated decision as to who they'll allow to work on their car.
