None of my friends are into cars anymore. :(
I'm like the only person in my neighborhood who is always out in the driveway doing something anymore... A few years ago I had a ton of buddies who were always down to do some work or go cruise/ride to Seaside or whatever. Now, I can't even get my boy to let me install a system for him for FREE!
I guess I just miss the early Saturday mornings corvered in grease and a cooler of cheap beer with McDonalds for lunch. I have a ton of friends up in New Brunswick, NJ that are still into the scene (imports, bike, drag racing, hydraulics, ect) but it's just hard to get up there sometimes so we got out of touch...
Once in a while I come across some car heads, but they usually turn out to be annoying or ricers. Are there any organized car clubs in South Jersey or N.E. Philly? I can bring a lot to the table in the way of skill and experience. I can weld, run a torch, fabricate, suspension work, top end motor work, stereo systems, electronics repair, and I have a crap load of nice tools... Let me know... I'm 30 btw..

I guess 30 is "around" the age were some peoples priorities change. Most of the car buddies you hang out with married, or have kids? I know I will always be around cars for as long as I live. I guess its something in your blood you can't get out. Good luck on finding some cool ppl to hang with.

Torrey, you're welcome to stop by the shop this sunday - we're having a meet. And leave your hose at home.
