I know you can do the same thing at F1 indoor in boston because my work does a trip each year and rents the track for an hour.
At either place you can run by yourself for the full time or have multiple people on a team. I tried running by myself my first time out for a 1.5hr endurance and got beat to hell and then it started to rain getting the track wet. The last half hour I was so tired and the track was wet enough that I couldn't keep the kart on the pavement...

On their site, to just show up and race it is $28 for 5 practice laps and then 10 race laps. This is only on 1/2 the track compared to what I was talking about above. In an hour you would normally do about 120 laps on one of these tracks if that gives you an idea of cost/time.

Well for those of you who are still comming, the meet will happen tonight. The location will be the same at Jordans. Time to meet will be 6:45-7pm. We will have a cruise tonight, so gas up. Hope to see a decent turn out!

sic pix guys sorry i got out of work late, i wanted to come after tim hit me up at work today, let me know if u guys want to meet up anytime between friday-tuesday i got the next 5 days off do to position change within usps then head to training on wed
