ya i was the ppw... i was gonna come over and talk to ya after the break but i couldnt find you... Rocky350 is the one with the blue one... My best run of the night was a 14.1@100... The track just takes getting used to you have an 07 correct you should be shifting right at redline (7500) in every gear... and after that its just getting your launch down and thats a whole other beast ... once you get a few more runs in you will be doing mid 13's easy dont forget your helmet

Kinda weird i got my best 60ft time and second best trap speed tonight yet it was .2 slower then my fastest run

Yeah, I have an 08 Base. And I knew the Redline is 7500 but I just shifted too early without thinking about it.

And I felt a bit weird about going over to the Z's and asking them if they were from the forums. But next time I'm there I wont hesitate.

Now I just wanna go for a night drive.

Why don't you pick a night next week that you are around and we can plan around that. Any ideas on where we can do this with access to tools?

I think there are some good DIY write ups I have stumbled accross for the front bumper just like the one out there for the rear. Do you have one?

I tried the spring compressors while on the car and there wasn't enough room to do anything. I have GF210's and they are progressive springs so I could only get the compressors around 3 springs.

After that didn't work, I decided to give the front end a shot with hand tools. Took about 3-4 hours but I got everything apart and reseated the springs. As of right now, there is no noise in the fron end anymore so it may have just been something sitting not quite right. Either that or it will just come back over time.

Thanks for the offer to help though. At least now I know I can swap out the shocks by meself when that time comes.

That's why I was trying to get help, I did this all with just open ended wrenches and a standard socket set. No power tools involved, was quite the workout....

October 19 UTI is sponsoring a bracket drag day at Epping. I need to find out all the details still but I'm hoping a few of you guys can come. I don't think I can rep for the whole g/z group, especially considering I only have the G It's bracket style so some of you stock auto guys may beat the TT 6MT guys...ya never know. Still trying to get my head around how bracket racing works. I'll post the info when I get more.
