Default General Road Conditions in your Area

Let me preface this by saying:
- I love my Z, its the best car I have owned and never plan on getting rid of it.

- I also daily drive my Z.

Rant:

I cannot believe how friggen bad the roads are in my area. It seems like driving through an obstacle course on a daily basis on the way to work, on the way to the mall, on the way to the general store, I mean you name it. It seems like every corner they are digging up the road, paying these no good for nothing cops to stand there and stare at you as you pass. They use this quick patch work style of repairing the road, leaving uneven road surfaces, potholes, ect. It makes me not want to drive my Z and get a big *** SUV so I don't have to worry about smashing the ever living sh-t out of my suspension. I swear I am going to send a bill to the State for pain and suffering!

/Rant

Please feel free to vent, I sure as hell know I needed to!

Stay away from Melrose and Malden! Bahhhh

I have found I developed this amazing skill, knowing exactly where all the potholes are on Storrow Drive. So if your comming back from Boston and you see a black Z doing the dodge and weave with no cars on the road. Waive

Montreal is such a beautiful city and so many people come here, but if you aren't on the highway, wow, you got some horrible roads...

Not good at all for lowered cars but they are everywhere....you learn how to dodge them though....I think its a tactic to keep the contruction guys working, they fix the roads ..jussssst godo enough to last 1 season lol

Its funny that this passion for our cars will have us taking alternate routes, avoiding certain parking lots with huge speed bumps etc lol..

Check this **** out.

A road in my area, route 206, was recently redone. The road itself is pretty good, aside from the fact that they left it 2 inches too shallow, so getting on it means you go down a 2 inch bump, getting off it means 2 inch bump. There is an angled bridge at one point, which means angled bridge joints, which in turn has caused my alignment to go all ****ed up. It's a 55mph road, so in certain situations I can't go over it any slower than 45 without causing some real problems as far as the other traffic on the road. It has me seriously pissed off, and the town has been getting letters weekly from me, and will continue to until they fix it. It's ****in ridiculous.

Ha the FDR! I wont even touch the FDR, I give it to you +1, and dont tell me you go over the 3rd ave bridge. I did it once and never again, not in the Z. I'd rather go into queens and head over the Whitestone and back into the Bronx.

Depends on the road here. The road I live on is horrible, but the Merritt Parkway isn't bad at all. It definitely varies around here.
