I was nearby my girlfriend's area, when I saw a 2006 Daytona Z pass by, while I waited at the light. I turned and stopped right next to the car at the next light. I honked, but then noticed it was a girl driving. And...my girlfriend was in the car, as you can see, so I was a bit embarrassed. But my gf also though it'd be a guy in the car.

So anyways, I noticed the girl was driving awfully slow, and my gf made a comment that it's probably not her car. I argued that it very well could be, a lot of girls drive the car. I noticed that her lights were off, so at the next light I honked again and she turns around smiling thinking I was trying to hit on her. LOL. I told her that her lights were off......it took her about 10 seconds to figure out how to turn them on.

After she did, I said "nice car"...to which she said "oh, it's not mine...it's my boyfriend's." Hahaha. My girlfriend was right, I guess...but then she was like "why don't you ever let me drive your car."

So which one of you characters let your girlfriend drive your car past midnight to God knows where. Car had Florida plates on it, was driving on Northern Blvd bordering Queens/Long Island.

 

Dude, i dont even let girls IN my car, nevermind driving it. All this torque and power will just make them wet, therefore fuked up expensive seats.

 

Weak excuse. Deal with them before they get that wet.

Girl can't drive stick, but she intends on learning. The clutch is on the way out anyway, so who knows. But either way, she wouldn't be driving it that late (unless I was too drunk to lol).

I've let my girl drive mine before. We swap cars if needed because she has a back seat, no big deal.

I've had the Z a week and a half and put 300 miles on it. So not really much running around. I live in South Meriden, the better half lives in Middletown and I work in Farmington. You may see my girlfriend if she brings it to work with her though, She's an RN at Yale.

Seeing your around here, have you found a shop to put on a 3M bra? I have called every tint place under the sun.

It's just a car, I let pretty much anyone drive it as long as I know they can drive. My wife is actually getting use to driving a manual again on my car now. She had learned in the past but never had a chance to practice much. This car is a little different than what she is use to.

 

not when you drop over 30k in parts. then the car becomes your girl.

I guess its just me. Im Very **** about who gets even close to my car.

do you go to the pike btw on friday and saturday nights. Last night we had like 4 z's rollin together so it was fun.

 

My wife drives my car and does a pretty good job of it. She obviously doesn't know it as well as I do, but she handles it well.
