3rd annual Kangamagus Highway run - OCTOBER 5th, 2008
Not sure if you guys have seen this post here & on some other forums. It is a week away and I thought I would make a thread to get some visibility on it. Might be a little short notice for a lot of you though.
OCTOBER 5th, 2008
3rd annual Kangamagus Highway run.
We have two meeting locations planned. First one is Wicked CAS in Plaistow NH at 8:30am'ish
The second, main location, is the Liquor Store on RT.93N, just North of the Hookset tolls. Meeting time is 10am
The cruise will take most of the day, and cover a good amount of ground. It will include the Kancamagus highway (curvy with elevation changes), possibly Hurricane Moutain Rd. (REAL curvy, single lane, BIG elevation changes, and FUN FUN). It will return via backroads along the lakes region. In the past there have been as many as 70 cars from all makes and models.
We plan to Drive north on RT93 for about an hour, then stop in one of two rest areas to get some food. We'll then go down 302, hurricane MTN road, the kanc, and then most likely back down RT93south. The route is still in the air, but that's the best one so far. If we take the lakes region way home, it will take up to 2 hours longer to get home. Either way, we'll have it all mapped out once the time comes around.
MEETING INFORMATION.
Wicked CAS (For address and contact info)

Primary meeting location (10am)

EVERYONE is welcome to join. Bring yourself, your friends, your cars/trucks/bikes and lets have a fun cruise before the summer is over.

This cruise was awesome. About 100 cars, all makes. About 400 miles of driving. less then a mile from Vermont,60 from Canada. The hurricane mountain road & kanc were attacked.
